Still a good show but will not last as long or as comfortable sometimes. Like my fav shoe merge is KC NY and uses silver technology inside and for the sole so it's a more cushioned dress shoes but not bulky

Answer: No. Not shiny, at all. Just a natural shine that you can polished with regular wax polish. BUT, these shoes run really big. I ordered my usual size 12, which I had to return and get a size 10.5.
