Answer:	I suppose so, if you put a lock on the actual zippers. Other than that no, but you would very much feel it if someone tried to unzip the bag AND take the camera cube out while you were wearing it.

Answer:	I don’t see why not, it’s smaller than my carry on backpack I take on planes

Answer:	On the larger version of the bag, the zippers slot together so you can easily fit a lock to lock them. I have this bag and always lock the lower part. On the medium bag though, it’s a different kind of zipper that I don’t think you could lock - unless you tied the zipper pull all up to a different part of the bag or something. Basically, the lower compartment of the large bag is designed to be locked, but the medium bag isn’t.

Answer:	The bag comes with a waterproof cover - I’ve always added that when there was heavy rain. I’ve never had a problem with a little water getting on the bag - it’s always kept it out - but anything that would get in through the zipper I’ve used the protective cover for.

Answer:	I'm not sure about the weight. I alao have a small 4th grader using this since the school started. So far it's holding up well. Btw it's always full of books, i'm quite sure I'm getting my money's worth.

Answer:	Yes it is okay for a 2nd grader. However it is not the best option. i recommend J world New York Sunrise, J world New York Sunny, or J world New York lollipop. Those are smaller than Sundance model so it will be better size for low grader

Answer:	No. I bought this backpack and I have a 17" laptop, it didn't fit in the laptop compartment it had.

Answer:	The straps are not durable. If you only need a rolling backpack. It is good but if you need to also carry the backpack using the straps, the straps will probably tear.

Answer:	It does not fit completely under the seat for any size jet that I’ve flown - it compromises your foot placement by extending too far into your leg space. It should fit in a larger overhead compartment or may be required to be checked in at the gate.

Answer:	Definitely not. The backpack is 19 inches high (from floor to top of backpack with the handle in the cradle) and 13 in wide. Keep in mind, the handle can be extended to 2 different heights. With the handle partially extended it is 34 inches high, with handle fully extended it is slightly under 39 inches high. The depth of the backpack varies, of course, depending on the contents it's holding. I purchased this backpack for my daughter at the beginning of the school year, she still loves it and she has had NO problems with it.

It carries amongst other stuff all my electronics; a portable HP U160 monitor, iPad, Lenovo Yoga2, and two bricks disguised as laptops.2. Conversion between laptop and wheeled baggage is quick and easy.3. Very well constructed.Room for Improvement:1. More padding between compartment dividers and bottom of bag2. More internal pockets for stuffThis bag is large, not so much wide as it is tall, so I was initially worried after it was delivered of it being able to fit under the seats of the CRJ-700's that I fly frequently. Because of the hard bottom of the bag used to anchor the wheels, it will not fit in the overhead bins that are roughly 10 inches tall. If you are on the Embraer models or larger, overhead carry on space will not be an issue.So in short, I was able to fit the bag under the seat, top end first, under the coach seat in front of me. Caveat, I did need to lift the top end above the carry on limit bar that is under the seat in front of me to get the bag in just a little bit further. But it worked. So if flying first class, the seats are different with more room available.In summary. If you travel a lot, and have a lot of baggage, get this bag.

Answer:	The material is water resistant but in a deluge water can leak through the zippers. The zipper for the Laptop section is protected by a nice flap of material about 1" wide all around. This flap will protect from some seepage. In a light rain shower, you'll probably be OK. In a downpour, you should probably be using an umbrella for both you AND the backpack!
