Answer:	I don’t know the diameter of the lock holes on the Pelican case, but i do not think this cable will fit

Answer:	The plastic components are very tough ENGINEERED plastic, not the material of toys and bottles. I have used the 120L bags and the lanyards for many years without a single failure. I routinely replace the supplied 3 digit lock with a brass 4 digit lock by Brinks or Ace Hardware.

Answer:	Not sure if it would work on your camera bag. I was going to use it on a Kelty Redwing 50 backpack. It's 50 liters. The pacsafe was very tight. I felt it was a little small for that set up. Your camera bag might be smaller. I feel the love that comes with it is wesk. Thin and small. Called Pacsafe and they said some people haved drilled out the holes on the cable bit do a larger stronger lock could be used. I also have the portable safe. Like it but same problem. Can't drill on that product. Can't understand why Pacsaface would make these great products and use small things locks. Having said that sometimes all you need to do is slow the theif down. They want to get in and get out. Good luck.

Answer:	Yes, depends on the size of the item. Some smaller items (e.g. phone, watch, etc.) could be removed from a bag.
Question:	Do you sacrifice security if it's much too large for your luggage or can you cinch it down and lock it
Answer:	It does cinch down quite well; though I never tried to cinch it Totally closed upon itself.
Question:	If someone breaks the blue plastic clip, will the whole thing come off? It seems pretty easy to break
Answer:	The cable is threaded thru the mesh. The clip is high impact plastic (Ala Delrin) that could be broken, but it would take a pretty serious sledgehammer or a big bolt cutter. Easier to cut the aircraft cable. So not perfect but at least able to beat a leatherman.

Answer:	Unshackle the lock (default code should be all zeroes) Pull the TSA key lock tumbler outward and twist one-quarter turn. Set your new combo by aligning numbers with red hash marks on lock body. . Write down new combo. Twist tumbler until is retracts back into lock body. Reshackle lock and push tumbler to ensure that you can unlock the lock with your new combo. If steps fails, consult manual.
Question:	Will this fit into the zipper lock hole of my pacsafe venture sling bag
Answer:	I am unable to answer this question because I cannot find a Pacsafe venture sling bag in an attempt to look at the pull tabs or where the bag would lock. When I enter 'venture sling bag it literally finds page after page of bags of different descriptions. None of which match your question exactly. There is a venturesafe sling bag but the picture is not detailed enough for me to see where this lock would attach. The locking portion of this lock will fit inside a hole about 1/8". I would order one and take a chance. You can always return it. I do, however, love this lock. I have two and use one for my golf bag and suitcase. I have never had an issue with TSA opening the lock and checking the contents of my golf bag (they always leave a note.)

Answer:	I broke one of my cards. Contacted Pacsafe and they ordered me a new one from Hong Kong I believe.

Answer:	You’d have to ask the manufacturer. I wouldn’t know. What I DO know is that I’ve used this padlock on many international flights now and have never had any problems. It is safe (as safe as a key), and way more convenient as one can carry it together alongside credit cards. I love it and will never go back to a padlock with a key for airline travel.
Question:	Can you get several locks 'keyed' to the same card? If I buy 5 locks seems like a pain to carry 5 cards
Answer:	No. If you order locks through Amazon, you'll get the luck of the draw with regard to key patterns. These are one lock per package so that means for five locks, you'd have to carry five cards plus would want to have the five backups somewhere as well. There are no unique markings on the locks that would match them with a specific card so it also means you'd have to either try all five cards on a lock or figure out a way to mark them to distinguish them. I don't know what these older answers are referring to.

Answer:	No, my Lenovo Thinkpad is 17" x 10.25" and I can't get it to close. This could easily be resolved if they would just add another stop/locking bead about an inch further. I don't need the top to complexity cinch to be secure.

Answer:	I dont believe so. My understanding is that it fits the VentureSafe..cant be certain. I would check their website.
Question:	How do I reset the password
Answer:	Once you have the lock open, pull the button (at the base of the lock) and twist it 90 degrees to jam it. In this position, you can reset to a new code and twist back the button at the base to its normal positions. You should have it in the manual. I will try and upload a pic.

Answer:	Way better. I just used this bag to travel out of the country. I paired it with one of pacsafes backpacks as well. Get yourself a better lock for it tho. The stock lock could be picked in seconds by anyone with a decent understanding of lock picking.
Question:	Can it hold a laptop? And if so how big of a laptop
Answer:	My laptop is 15"x9.5" and 12L Travelsafe stored it with room to spare. At the same time I also Fit/kept my wallet, passport, cellphone, Go Pro and its valuable accessories and charging wires for safe keeping while I was out of my room. I traveled all around Thailand with this product and it performed perfectly. The bag its self is (Outside dimensions) 20"x14", after bag is closed dimensions are 17"x14". Great travel item to have if your not sure if your hotel room will have a in room safe. Honestly i don't trust those things because they have default codes, an easy snatch for a opportunist (hotel employee). Great peace of mind while you travel.
Question:	Does anyone know the diameter of the hole the padlock goes through on the locking device or the cable's? I'd like to use a different padlock
Answer:	It measures 0.24 inches or 6 mm. Be aware that most standard small padlocks have a 1/4" diameter shank that will NOT fit through the hole (unless you drill out the hole, as others have suggested). I would suggest looking for a lock with a 3/16 inch or 5 mm shank diameter.

Question:	Is it waterproof and can resist rains so water will not leak inside
Answer:	Not fully waterproof. But it'll absorb a decent amount of rain before it starts to leak.
Question:	Can the zipper compartments lock with small TSA locks
Answer:	Yes they could, they already lock into each other as is the case with Pacsafe bags. However if I was to anything I would buy a Pacsafe cable lock and run it through the zippers for extra protection.
Question:	Would a pen be able to puncture the zipper teeth
Answer:	I believe so; it is a common problem with self-repairing "coil" style zippers, vs. the "flat" interlocking plates style zippers. But I think it is really a problem for "unattended" bags such as checked luggage, luggage stowed in hotel room storage areas. The whole design philosophy is to slow down the process, not prevent it entirely - as when riding a subway, or exercising in a park (use the backpack strap to lock to a park bench handle), or to prevent grab and runs at outdoor cafes. Using a pen to separate the zipper coils takes too much time and attention in the typical settings you are likely to worry about.
