Answer:	No, a big water bottle wouldn't fit in the side pockets. The side pockets are pretty tight once your bag is filled. If your backpack isn't filled to capacity on the inside, a narrow water bottle (think regular sized Swell bottle) would be able to fit in the outside side pocket. Since I pack a lot in my bag, I place my water bottle inside the bag and reserve the outside side pockets for smaller things like mints.

Answer:	Clib expends quite wide; whether or not it will grip is the question. 1.5 cm should be fine. The widest edge I could get it to grip was almost 2. Anything wider and it'll slide off. Although that said a little ingenuity goes a long way. Get some rubber bands to make the clip grip stronger or some double sided tape to make it grip better if your edges are particularly slippery or rounded

Answer:	I have a 15inch Apple Macbook Pro and there is plenty of room. Your laptop should fit just fine. When I travel I put my bag under the airplane seat and have had no issues. This bag can store quite a lot of gear. Been one of the best computer bags I've owned. I hope this helps.

Answer:	It fits my Lenovo ThinkPad P71 17.3 display, a little tight but the bottom corners are padded and the upper corners have about .25" of padding. My P71 is 16.5" x 11" x 1.5".
