Answer:	Yes...and there is a cross body strap especially for this purpose; however, I found some imitators (in leather only as well for less than l/2 the price. In the Bostanten the inner purse is flimsey and rolls around inside the big bag. In those imitators (I have purchased two of them one for me and one for a gift) and their inner bag is leather and it too comes with a cross body strap and can be used as a cross body bag (outer bag and smaller bag) which is also leather. These imitators are available in a lot of colors (more than Bostanten).

Answer:	No, I haven't had that problem. I've been using my bag for a couple of months now. I even put cold drinks in it when I go to dialysis. The outside of the bottles sweat on the inside of my bag and nothing happens. It just dries back to the way it was before and no color comes off on anything 

Question:	Does it have a credit card holder compartment
Answer:	It has a zipper on the inside and one on the backside. The back one holds my checkbook and hand wipes. The front looks just like the photo. You could use the front for credit cards but I use mine for cell phone and hand sanitizer. The little pouch bag has a tendency to fall off so I put a couple stitches in mine by hand to keep it secure and they are unnoticed. This is my favorites bag ever and even when full is pretty lightweight. It allows me to just throw across my body and have hands free shopping. Best bag ever!!!!!!!

One of the reasons it is so heavy is because this type of plastic/rubber manmade leather is - very heavy. I own an overnight piece of luggage - good looking but also very heavy. NOT LEATHER!

Answer:	I think the dimensions of this backpack are larger. Backstage leather bag model dimensions: 4.5 x 16.5 x 12.5 inches. Manhattan leather bag model dimensions: 6.5 x 16.2 x 13 inches. While I don't have either bag, from the description the Manhattan appears to be 2 inches deeper.
