The KO3US variant has 4GB which is the minimum one would want to run the background security processes being introduced with the July 20018 Chrome OS update. I personally would not hesitate to buy a used or re-certified K03US to meet an under $140 price point. If a K03US cosmetically looks fine then there is little chance that it will not perform as flawlessly as a new one.

Answer:	Bought this for our 3yr old. I really didn't see much that a child would choke on unless they are talking about the attachments. Which are rather large if you ask me. They also are taking into consideration small items that the child might suck up into the vacuum. With all that being said, I would be fine with a child under 3 playing with this item.
