Answer:	Red is signifying of a malfunction. If it was working while it was red, I am incredibly surprised. When it is red, it usually mean that it is already broken, and the bar will refuse to power on the system. If you Xbox refuses to turn on, touch the brink and discover how hot it is. If it is a little over 90 degrees it is probably burned out and needs replacing.

Answer:	I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure they are the same power supply for slim and elite. However I don't recommend getting one off ebay unless it's is from Microsoft I've had the problem of buying two of these off ebay and amazon and both have broke in a week. Good luck

Answer:	This triggers are really good, can´t tell if they fit on the slim controller, on gen 1 dualshock controllers fits perfect without any glue, tape, etc. works fine for all FPS games. I also bought a red controller on amazon and in that one didn´t fit. The triggers come with some kind of tape so you can glue them to the controller, but it didn´t hold. So I left it alone, I only use them with my gen1 controller
