Answer:	Well i can tell you that this antenna does not need a driver from the manufacturer, Windows 10 provides a universal driver for it.

Answer:	I had the same problem. They provided a link to download the drivers, which I did. I installed them on my MacBook Pro and attempted to restart as prompted. My trusty Mac refused to restart even in "safe mode". Tried rebooting in recovery mode and again, would not boot up. I ended up reinstalling my entire drive from a back up drive. Total time wasted=5 hours and I sent this back for a refund. Don't bother wasting your money if you have a Mac, it will only cause you grief.

Answer:	To be technical this creates another network adapter for your computer/laptop. It can NOT be used as a booster for range with an existing wireless adapter. It might get better range than your current adapter. But it will not supplement it at all. Completely separate device from any other network adapter (wired or wireless).

Answer:	Hey guys, I'm able to have it working on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. I did follow the dkms solution posted by the other user; the script ran into an error, that's when I noticed the shell script requires a manual edit to edit out the version number for the driver's directory, once that's done the shell script ran just fine. Also, I had this adapter plugged into a USB 2.0 port, and the wifi would not accept the password; once I plug it into a USB 3.0 port (duh, lol) the wifi accepted the password and working just fine.

Answer:	Not enough information. What OS are you running? Specifically, how do you know it doesn't detect adapter? Do you have another wireless adapter installed and enabled, perhaps a (built-in) adapter on the motherboard? If so, you must disable that adapter first before installing the TP-LINK Archer's driver.

Make sure Drivers installed properly w/ reboot Lookup "WiFi adapter settings gaming" for a tutorial on tinkering with the settings Try changing your DNS servers to OpenDNS or Google's (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4) Download WiFi Analyzer phone app to scan your WiFi signal strength and channel congestion, you may need to manually change channel of 2.4/5GHz broadcast. Ensure Antennae of Router and WiFi card are tightened securely (I used heat shrinks to hold mine in place cuz they'll come loose). If your signal is crap you can change location of router, use a ghetto satellite dish (cardboard covered with aluminum foil can bounce signal towards your pc) or buy a better router (I use an R2600/X4S running dd-wrt firmware), use a mesh network or configure another router, like an R1700, as an AP by flashing it with dd-wrt.

However, if your PC is near your DSL modem, it would be less costly to use the EtherNet ports with a CAT5 type cable. (Or whatever EtherNet cable is normal on your DSL rig). Using a direct EtherNet cable, is more secure than using wifi, (nobody down the street can hack into your communications with online vendors), and it's is usually faster than wifi.

Answer:	Yes. It has two pinch style "screws" holding it down I removed it and replaced the thermal pad with a better quality pad on arrival.

Answer:	The stability should be better than Tp-link, according to the brand, I think.
Question:	Does it work on PCIEX16_
Answer:	No. A PCI-e X1 slot is required, according to the manufacturer's website (it's buried in the FAQ section). It did not function in an MB with an x16 slot.
