Question:	do you need a dummy battery for your DSLR camera
Answer:	This does need power. The way I am using it, the capture device receives HDMI from the camera and is plugged into a USB port on my computer. The computer provides the needed power through the USB port. If you have a different arrangement that cannot provide power through the USB port, you will have to provide power externally.
Question:	Can this be used to capture my PC desktop as a source? Or it has to be camera video capture
Answer:	It can capture any HDMI input, so I guess if you got a HDMI splitter you could capture your desktop. I can’t recommend that though since any software used to record the capture card’s input still takes up computer resources, so you might as well just screen record.
Question:	Can i use this devise to present a video via dvd player through laptop on zoom? and will it have audio and video
Answer:	From what I can tell, yes, although I cannot recommend it unless you are familiar with OBS (Open Broadcaster Software). This program lets you turn the capture card input into a virtual webcam, which you can then select in zoom.

Answer:	There is no information on latency. So far, there has been no delay on the IMac when operating the DSLM as a webcam.

Answer:	This review was fake. This product was sent to my house without me ordering it. I gave it away to a neighbor and now reviews are popping up under my name. I did not write this and have no input either way about this product.

Answer:	So far I have had no problems with any camera. I tested it on the Canon 550D, Sony a7sII, a7rIII and FS7. As long as 1080p and 4k are supported (max. 30 fps) I think that should always work. It is then only important that the HDMI output is clean, some cameras send the information from the display.
Question:	How is the delay from the hdmi output if you have this for television or is there one
Answer:	Amazingly very low. It wasn't with me for a second.

Identify the Capture Card

Enter OBS settings, select ‘usb 3.0 HD Video Capture’ in the device column. As shown in Figure 1-1.

Set the resolution and the FPS

1. Custom Resolution: First set Resolution/FPS Type to custom mode. As shown by the white arrow in Figure 2-1.

2. Set Resolution: Select the appropriate resolution at the up and down arrows on the far right of this column. As shown by the yellow arrow in Figure 2-1.

3. Set FPS: Select the appropriate frame rate at the up and down arrows on the far right of this column. As shown by the red arrow in Figure 2-1.

Set the audio and micro

1. Select the "Output Desktop Audio" item at the up and down arrows on the far right of the "Audio Output Mode" column.As shown by the yellow arrow in Figure 3-1.

2. Mark the "√" in the red box. As shown in Figure 3-1.

3. A. Select the MIC input of the collector at the up and down arrows on the far right of the "Audio Device" column. As shown in Figure 3-1.

Special Note:

• When you unplug or replace the device, please reopen the OBS settings page to reset and reactivate the device (Mark the "√" in the red box in Figure 4-1).
• Please connect your Nintendo Switch and other input devices to our capture card first, and then connect the capture card to your computer and other output devices
• If you need to capture 1080P@60Hz video signals, please force the signal source to output 4K@60Hz or 1080P@60Hz, and then set the resolution.
