Answer:	Only cassette tapes. It can convert the music in tapes to MP3 files and save them in the USB drives. You can also hear the tapes with the included headphones.

Answer:	You use a jump drive (thumb drive) that is inserted into the player. The music records directly onto that. I also used a speaker system - so I would listen to the tape as it went, and would know when to hit STOP. It does not stop automatically, as it just plays both sides continuously. It records onto the jump drive as MP3 music. Then put it into your laptop & copy it files from the jump drive to the PC. A warning - some of my cassette tapes were SO OLD like 60 yrs. - they would not play, or the machine ate them. I tried it on a normal cassette tape player first.
Question:	Once saved to flash drive, can i use the drive to download saved files to my PC? Software needed
Answer:	Yes, you can download the saved files from the USB drive to your PC directly, not need for software at all. The saved folder in the USB drive is "TAPEMP3", you can copy it directly to your computer.

Answer:	Theoretically yes— if a USB Thumb drive is plugged into it you can use the buttons on the back to play, and change tracks. It does not have any internal storage. However, when attempted to plug a USB into mine, the whole thing broke apart like a bad comedy movie.

Auto / Manual Mode

Answer:	I have found that the capture doesn't have speakers so it is difficult to get the MAC to accept it and bring it back through. Question:	Once you download mp3 to your computer, can you then burn a CD to use in your car
Answer:	Yes. Depending on the software you use,.... It comes with Audacity and you can also download Audacity online. I already had it so.... Using Audacity to record, it saves as an Audacity file. Again, using Audacity, you can then convert to wav, mp3, or other formats. It does not automatically record to mp3, it records as a digital file, not mp3. So to answer your question, once recorded as a digital file, you can convert to mp3, yes.

Answer:	I haven't tried that from a full discharge. I can say that as far as hand cranking compared to pure battery, it depends on why you need it. In an emergency situation where electricity may be a scarce resource, the crank type wins hands down.

Question:	how is the recorded audio? is there any bass? i bought one like this and all high's and no low's in the recorded audio

Answer:	This was the reason for the purchase. I have not gotten the product to work with that set up. If it records anything at all, it just captures silence or static, and frequently stops recording (because it has not received a signal).
Question:	Does each "recording session" create a separate mp3 file added to the usb or sd card
Answer:	Yes it does. Each time you stop recording, the unit stores the mp3 file to the memory device.
Question:	Is there a power supply for this? If not, how do I power it
Answer:	As the picture shows and the description states it comes with a USB power cable. The USB power cable cannot be used on a USB port from a computer as it needs more power than the computer will provide. It is best to purchase an adapter that plugs into an outlet and takes USB connection.

Answer:	There is no tape speed adjuster function. You can press FF/REW buttonto fast forward or rewind the tape. (Note that these buttons will become “reversed” when the tape changes direction. ) You also can also set the play mode to choose "loop" play or "single" play.
