| Answer: | The product specs say pci express 2.0 even a 4 year old board should have 2.0. unless you are using this for programs like autodesk or professional graphics editing I would steer away from quadro line (professional line)and go for a much cheaper and more capable gaming type card geforce. you'll get more bang for your buck there as these cards are purpose built. |

That being said, for serious work, as an artist or CAD designer or digital content creator, choose K2200; for something amateur to have fun, just as playing game, choose GTX 750 Ti, because it is cheap. This Quadro K2200 is much more elegant than gaming GTX 750 Ti, don't always think that you can get a deal with much more cheap price for a video card comparable to a professional high end card, there is a reason a professional performance video card to be expensive. |

| Answer: | I am not familiar with the Akitio Thunderbolt 2. However, I can say that the adapter comes with both the 1/2-height mounting bracket, as well as the full-height bracket, like show in the image. Most of the time it is shipped with the 1/2-height bracket attached to the adapter. But it is really easy to switch them. I have purchased about a dozen of these adapters over the past year or so. They have worked really well for our needs (mostly engineering 3D drawings). I feel it is a great value. |
