This heatsink fits perfectly on my Intel BOXDH77EB motherboard. My case is a Silverstone ML03. I actually have two of these, same case, same motherboard. They're quiet, have real metal screws and haven't given me any problems.

Question:	How does the performance of this setup compare to say the h80i liquid cooling system or comparable ones
Answer:	I know this question is old, but I have had the h80i for two years on two rigs and I moved one over to this cooler, and now I’m buying another one of these to replace the other h80i. Temperature differences? The h80i did fine for a while, but it’s gotten slowly louder and hotter over time...liquid may be drying up. Meanwhile the noctua is quieter than the h80i EVER was, and keeps the cpu (a 4970) cool enough that it’s always running at boost clock speed. I don’t overclock, I just want my computer quiet and running fairly cool. These do the trick, and they’re far easier to assemble than the Corsair water blocks. I have a third machine that I started out with this cooler on, and it’s worked like a champ for YEARS. I’m a bit mad at myself for ever going the water cooling route.
Question:	I have a spare Noctua fan, could i mount it on the other side of the radiator for more efficient cooling? I have the ASUS Maximus Formula VI
Answer:	Who has such an expensive fan as a spare? Anyway, of course you could use it. There is an extra bracket provided for this exact application, along with some thicker anti-vibration rubber pads. I personally would mount the second fan in the exact same orientation as the first fan so that it still pulls air from the right side of your case and pushes it out the left side. I don't like air-flow working against each other. I create kind of like a wind tunnel in my case.By adding this second fan to just aid in helping to 'pull' the air through being pushed though by the first noctua nf-f12 fan, you could set both fans to about 900 rpm. Not that there isn't efficient cooling already in my case with just the one fan at 900 rpm. What model is that extra fan you have, is it another nf-f12 or nf-s12a? I would mount a nf-s12a as a second fan since the nf-f12 is optimized to push air through restrictive areas, i.e. the cpu heat sink and then I wouldn't use the thicker rubber spacers provided in the box with the NH-U12S cooler, but I would use the thinner rubber spacers already on your additional noctua fan.I am not sure why noctua provides thicker rubber pads for the second optional fan, maybe it's because they think you will use another nf-f12 pressure optimized fan and it needs that little bit more breathing space since it is more designed as a 'pushing' air type fan rather than pulling, I don't know. I would still prefer the nf-s12a as a second fan. I read reviews where a second fan on this cooler only managed to give 1-2 degrees C better temps...run a benchmark with one and then two fans, keep your eyes on your temps and if you only see a small improvement like this, I don't think I would waste such a good fan for that 1 or 2 better temps. Rather mount it as an intake fan then. Hope I could help.

Answer:	The heatsink or cpu cooler come with high quality thermal paste plus mounting for LGA 2011 and 1150. However, you need to apply the paste on top of the cpu. There are many videos on YouTube that shows you the proper way of putting it if you want to know how exactly it is applied on top of the CPU. To answer you question, it comes in a tube of about 50 ml if I am not mistken.

Answer:	Someday! The only difference is the 3 RGB fans, which are Deepcool CF120’s. You can buy a 3 pack from Amazon for $40, or resell/trade the 3 black fans on the regular ex. Answer:	Aside from Snaps11, ignore these trolls. They lack the mental fortitude to be able to provide a real answer. No, it will not STANDARDLY fit into the case of an XBox. But the science of whether it will transfer general heat is there. You'll need to find a way to brace the fan in a way that keeps it clear of debris, so I recommend building a small wooden frame that lifts it off of whatever surface the XBOX stands on (to keep clear of settling dust). You will also need to find a way to maintain contact of the cooling plate on the area you wish to cool. Because the cooling is concentrated on the contact area, I recommend purchasing three single fan cooling systems to place where the XBOX heats up the most. This will void the warranty, but I recommend cutting away parts of the plastic casing so that the metal cooling plates can be placed against metal, where the greatest heat transfer can take place. So can these be used on consoles, or anything really? Yes, provided you understand that metal contact is the best way to transfer heat, and you are ok doing an augmentation job on the device you wish to cool.

If they were right, people in hot climates would only need water in their cars, but just using water will overheat the car due to the climate + engine heat. Ethylene glycol is called antifreeze, but could just as easily be called "anti-boil" since it's boiling point is 235F! So unless your CPU is going to be running at over 100C? You don't need "coolant/antifreeze" as well as water.
