Answer:	Cooler Master lists this product as being compatible with the LGA 1200 socket on their website. An intel I5 10400 CPU fits the LGA 1200 socket and has a TDP of 65 W. This cooler will be perfectly adequate for a non K badged cpu and is much more substantial than the stock cooler intel provides with their cpus. You listed a Z490 mother board and if you plan to upgrade to a K badged cpu in the future this cooler will not be sufficient and should be replaced with a tower cooler or AIO.

This heatsink fits perfectly on my Intel BOXDH77EB motherboard. My case is a Silverstone ML03. I actually have two of these, same case, same motherboard. They're quiet, have real metal screws and haven't given me any problems.

Question:	Hi, I have read alot of reviews saying the therr is a design flaw, Can the manufacturer guarantee that the plsstic tabs will not brake
Answer:	I owned three of these and all three had problems. The design flaw is the mounting bracket and the way it connects to the water pump. Under pressure the tabs will break and you must be vert careful when installing it. I have two break on installation and another pop after about 4 months of usage. I have built PC's for over 25 years, so I understand how to properly apply pressure when installing CPU coolers. I would wait until cooler master fixes this issue. Hopefully the next revision will have a better mounting system.

Answer:	I have the smallest one they make (that I know of) the cheap V1 (49.99) - it fits Mini/Micro case w/ x570m Mobo & 1660Super GPU. Unlike the other guy claims of it 'not evev good', I would say that maybe he forgot to remove the tape off of end piece. It was kinda a pain to replace wraith prism cooler for R7 2700x, but if anyone has one, they know they run kinda hot when rendering/etc.... It keeps mine around 40 C. idle, and right under 50 when under X-Heavy load (rendering+running SL grid). So it SHOULD FIT (barely) And IT DOES WORK on Ryzen 7 2700X and other methods of cooling it had not worked, but this cooler DOES work (so far).

Question:	How does the performance of this setup compare to say the h80i liquid cooling system or comparable ones
Answer:	I know this question is old, but I have had the h80i for two years on two rigs and I moved one over to this cooler, and now I’m buying another one of these to replace the other h80i. Temperature differences? The h80i did fine for a while, but it’s gotten slowly louder and hotter over time...liquid may be drying up. Meanwhile the noctua is quieter than the h80i EVER was, and keeps the cpu (a 4970) cool enough that it’s always running at boost clock speed. I don’t overclock, I just want my computer quiet and running fairly cool. These do the trick, and they’re far easier to assemble than the Corsair water blocks. I have a third machine that I started out with this cooler on, and it’s worked like a champ for YEARS. I’m a bit mad at myself for ever going the water cooling route.
Question:	I have a spare Noctua fan, could i mount it on the other side of the radiator for more efficient cooling? I have the ASUS Maximus Formula VI
Answer:	Who has such an expensive fan as a spare? Anyway, of course you could use it. There is an extra bracket provided for this exact application, along with some thicker anti-vibration rubber pads. I personally would mount the second fan in the exact same orientation as the first fan so that it still pulls air from the right side of your case and pushes it out the left side. I don't like air-flow working against each other. I create kind of like a wind tunnel in my case.By adding this second fan to just aid in helping to 'pull' the air through being pushed though by the first noctua nf-f12 fan, you could set both fans to about 900 rpm. Not that there isn't efficient cooling already in my case with just the one fan at 900 rpm. What model is that extra fan you have, is it another nf-f12 or nf-s12a? I would mount a nf-s12a as a second fan since the nf-f12 is optimized to push air through restrictive areas, i.e. the cpu heat sink and then I wouldn't use the thicker rubber spacers provided in the box with the NH-U12S cooler, but I would use the thinner rubber spacers already on your additional noctua fan.I am not sure why noctua provides thicker rubber pads for the second optional fan, maybe it's because they think you will use another nf-f12 pressure optimized fan and it needs that little bit more breathing space since it is more designed as a 'pushing' air type fan rather than pulling, I don't know. I would still prefer the nf-s12a as a second fan. I read reviews where a second fan on this cooler only managed to give 1-2 degrees C better temps...run a benchmark with one and then two fans, keep your eyes on your temps and if you only see a small improvement like this, I don't think I would waste such a good fan for that 1 or 2 better temps. Rather mount it as an intake fan then. Hope I could help.

Answer:	The heatsink or cpu cooler come with high quality thermal paste plus mounting for LGA 2011 and 1150. However, you need to apply the paste on top of the cpu. There are many videos on YouTube that shows you the proper way of putting it if you want to know how exactly it is applied on top of the CPU. To answer you question, it comes in a tube of about 50 ml if I am not mistken.

Answer:	The CPU Fan must be connected to the 3 pin cpu fan connector (not sata connector) on your motherboard. The RGB colors should start automatically when the PC is booted up. If the LEDs do not light up, you may have a defected one. Please note that you cannot change any of the colors on this cooler. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I have not - I tried it in Fractal Design Focus G Black ATX Mid Tower Computer Case. It has a Max CPU Cooler Height Allowance of 165mm, which is used almost fully by this cooler. A quick google search for max cooler height for 4U units brings up 154mm - which is way less than what I think will be sufficient. So I would not recommend it.
