You will see a small white button; press this while pulling the receiving tray all the way out and this will remove the battery and bulb compartment. Question:	This question pertains to tk-803r -- the 8-port mountable kvm with ps/2 and usb capabilities: are cables included? and if so, what are their lengths
Answer:	NO - you would have to purchase more. All Surface Pro's only have 1x USB port and 1x mini-Display Port (not HDMI). You would have to purchase a mini-DP to HDMI video adapter (less than $10) to use it with this switch. Microsoft does sell a port replicator (~$150), but it also only has mini-DP video ports (so it does NOT help you to buy that). "Orion" said "Micro Surface Dock" could plug into this KVM, but only "later" said that you still need a video adapter. If you need this HDMI KVM switch, the easiest/best/cheapest thing to do would be to buy a simple "mini-DP to HDMI" video adapter and plug the (now HDMI) and USB into this KVM switch.

Answer:	Nixplay Frames are smart frames, so your content must be stored in the cloud for your frame to display content (i.e. there is no USB or SD-card slot from which you can load content onto your frame. The only way is via the cloud). The frames do have internal storage that (1) hold the on-frame software and (2) store recent photos/video clips that in the instance when a wi-fi connection is temporarily lost, the frame will still display recent images. In that sense, I'd suggest that the size of the internal storage is less of an issue than the size of the cloud storage (for Nixplay, included cloud storage is 10GB). - Ryan from Nixplay

Answer:	I bought the Kool-Aid. Subscription-based is great for corporation, terrible for consumer. Gotta keep paying and paying for their wi-fi models. Sending it back. Their SD card models only take 32GB (when today you can buy a cheap 256GB card), only 1 minute of video, and only HD, not 4k as has been common for 4-5 years. OTOH, cannot find other products that are "modern" (256GB card, unlimited video, 4K, etc).

Question:	I have a pc tower (i.e. computer 1) and a laptop (i.e. computer 2). can i use this kvm box for 2 monitor display for both pc and laptop
Answer:	Good question. I'm not an IT professional, but have been using computers and peripherals since 1980. Since you're looking to connect a Sabrent product with another of the same manufacturer, logic suggests it should work. Examine the connection points between the items you want the switch - that should be the driving issue if it will work or not. My Sabrent USB 3.0 Sharing Switch is connected to a Plugable Display Link, Model UD-3900H. Since I have two laptop computers, one for work and one for home, and have two monitors and external keyboard/mouse I tired of shifting cables to attain the expanded desktop experience and use the same peripherals. Installing the switch allows me to move seamlessly between the two platforms. Sure, there are a few seconds delay when shifting between each, but that's less time than it takes to change cables. Hope that helps in a roundabout fashion.
Question:	Do the input display cables have to be connected to the computer to work or will it work through usb only
Answer:	more of a "yes but" - I used this and the amazonbasics port replicator to switch the input to my KVM and peripherals between two laptops. The major issue is DisplayLink needs to be as up to date as it can be, and it's still not a great standard for QoL - don't expect to do medium or high end gaming with it. Even some video things like skype or zoom tend to have screen tearing unless you have the image fairly small.
Question:	Does unit usb remove native mouse and keyboard functionality
Answer:	I have my Astro mixamp connected to my PS4 and my PC via this switch so I believe it would work for your Blue Yetti.
Question:	Does this unit provide a 'keep-alive' signal on the idle USB port
Answer:	It should be backwards-compatible. I've had no problems with the hub I've connect to it which has my mouse and keyboard plugged into it, none of which are USB 3. It comes with the two cables the go from the back of the switch to whatever devices you're connecting it into, usually the computers. I haven't measured but I'd guess they're 2 to 3 ft long. They're USB 3.0 B to A cables. The B side goes in the switch, and the A side goes into whatever you're plugging it into.

Sharing More Devices With Higher Efficiency

Installation Guide (incorrect connection will cause malfunction):

1. Connect the end with USB, audio and HDMI of cable A to your computer side, the other end with HDMI only to IN 1A port at KVM side.
2. Connect Cable B from 2nd video output on your computer to IN 1B port at KVM side.
3. Connect another Cable B from 3rd video output on your computer to IN 1C port at KVM side
4. Repeat step 1, 2 and 3 to connect other computers to relevant IN A and IN B port.

How to Get Dual Monitor Display:

1. Each computer needs dual DVI outputs for connecting to IN A and IN B DVI ports.

2. Reliable adatpers will be needed but not included for Non-DVI outputs like VGA, HDMI, USB C or DisplayPort, please be aware of this before order.

How to Get Keyboard and mouse work:

1. Connect a USB 2.0 port on each computer to correspondent square USB port on the KVM switch using the USB A-male to B-male cable included.

2. If you are using a wireless keyboard and mouse set with a unifying receiver, plug the receiver into rear USB keyboard port.

3. Some keyboard and mouse with special features may not work well on the 2 rear USB ports, if so, please turn off the hotkey, then these 2 USB ports will turn into standard USB 2.0 HUB port. Without hotkeys, you can use the wired remoter to switch between computers which is also convenient.

Special Notes:

1. DVI cables are not included in the package.

2. Both monitors will display images on a same selected computer, it does not support monitor 1 on PC 1 and monitor 2 on PC 2 simualtaneously.
