Sharing More Devices With Higher Efficiency

Installation Guide (incorrect connection will cause malfunction):

1. Connect the end with USB, audio and HDMI of cable A to your computer side, the other end with HDMI only to IN 1A port at KVM side.
2. Connect Cable B from 2nd video output on your computer to IN 1B port at KVM side.
3. Connect another Cable B from 3rd video output on your computer to IN 1C port at KVM side
4. Repeat step 1, 2 and 3 to connect other computers to relevant IN A and IN B port.
5. Plug your wired keyboard and mouse to relevant USB ports on back side of KVM. Wireless adapter goes to USB keyboard port

How to Get Dual Monitor Display:

1. Each computer needs dual DVI outputs for connecting to IN A and IN B DVI ports.

2. Reliable adatpers will be needed but not included for Non-DVI outputs like VGA, HDMI, USB C or DisplayPort, please be aware of this before order.

How to Get Keyboard and mouse work:

1. Connect a USB 2.0 port on each computer to correspondent square USB port on the KVM switch using the USB A-male to B-male cable included.

2. If you are using a wireless keyboard and mouse set with a unifying receiver, plug the receiver into rear USB keyboard port.

3. Some keyboard and mouse with special features may not work well on the 2 rear USB ports, if so, please turn off the hotkey, then these 2 USB ports will turn into standard USB 2.0 HUB port. Without hotkeys, you can use the wired remoter to switch between computers which is also convenient.

Special Notes:

1. DVI cables are not included in the package.

2. Both monitors will display images on a same selected computer, it does not support monitor 1 on PC 1 and monitor 2 on PC 2 simualtaneously.

Question:	This question pertains to tk-803r -- the 8-port mountable kvm with ps/2 and usb capabilities: are cables included? and if so, what are their lengths
Answer:	NO - you would have to purchase more. All Surface Pro's only have 1x USB port and 1x mini-Display Port (not HDMI). You would have to purchase a mini-DP to HDMI video adapter (less than $10) to use it with this switch. Microsoft does sell a port replicator (~$150), but it also only has mini-DP video ports (so it does NOT help you to buy that). "Orion" said "Micro Surface Dock" could plug into this KVM, but only "later" said that you still need a video adapter. If you need this HDMI KVM switch, the easiest/best/cheapest thing to do would be to buy a simple "mini-DP to HDMI" video adapter and plug the (now HDMI) and USB into this KVM switch.

Answer:	Its supposed to, but I have not found this magical 1080p/auto edid button that the manual keeps mentioning. So my lg ultrawide is stuck on 1080p for all 4 of my pc.

Answer:	I have a ultra wide lg monitor and when I connect the kvm switch it did not go all the way to 4k. It was not supported it went to a Max of 1920 x 1080. I didn't like the way the display look. All my icon where big AF!. Kvm i switch is on a drawer...😂😂😂

Answer:	I guess you have already found out that the needed batteries have many names in different countries.A simple googling got this result in a second: http://www.batteryjunction.com/mn-1400.html . I agree with the other peoples that unless you are going to scrutinize several hundred slides, batteries, eventually rechargeable, are quite enough. Spring 2012 I viewed about 300 hundred for an eventually scanning and I have still the same two duracell batteries!

Answer:	With the unit facing you, open the slide receiving tray on the left side then turn the unit over away from you, still keeping the receiving tray on the left. You will see a small white button; press this while pulling the receiving tray all the way out and this will remove the battery and bulb compartment. Slide the compartment back when you're finished being careful to line up the black groove. Good luck!

Question:	I have a wireless keyboard/mouse combo (1 usb dongle). The dongle doesn't seem to be recognized on any of the 4 ports
Answer:	If you can open your photos and the device that you opened them with is connected to your printer, chances are that you can print them. Ibi, on its own does not have software to open or edit your photos. It just stores them. Just did a test, opened a photo on the ibi drive with my desktop, sent it to my laser printer and it worked fine. Again, if you can see them on your device and whatever app makes your photo visible has a connection to a printer, you can print. There should be no need to move the file in or out of your ibi.

Answer:	Yes, the KVM draws power from the USB ports, so a monitor connection is not needed. Especially when you have multiple monitors for each computer, using a KVM to switch monitors is not practical. Using one set of keyboard and mouse for multiple computers is.
Question:	Can you switch devices using keyboard only
Answer:	There is the ability, without software, to switch to the next port in line using the numlock key or the scroll lock key. This only moves to the next port in line eg, 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-1. If you install the software you can switch to any port with a hoy key, but it has to be installed on all the computers you want to use this feature.
Question:	What is the difference between the 209, 207 and 205, all sold on Amazon
Answer:	The 209 has audio cables----the 207 does not and the 205 is for PS2 mouse and keyboard plugs.
