User questions & answers
Question: | Does a msi gtx 1060 6gb fit in this case |
Answer: | As long as you have good low-profile heatsink. It's very narrow. Low profile is key. 250w is a measurement of electricity |
Question: | One of the images makes it look like the back fan space might actually fit a fan larger than the 80mm the case comes with |
Answer: | I think the answer is 'maybe'. There isn't a dedicated slot for a full size GPU but with a bit of modding - it might fit. If you are after a mini ATX case with full size GPU capability, look at the small silverstone tech cases (eg FTZ001) or the Fractal Design Node 202. |
Question: | Can you put in two Hard Drives plus an optical drive |
Answer: | Correct dimensions of the case in centimeters: 35,6 x 33,8 x 10,2. |
Question: | How big is it when compared to a cereal box |
Answer: | It requires a TFX power supply. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this case come with two windowed panels or just one |
Answer: | just one. you can position it on either side or on top. |
Question: | Will this fit a gtx 970, with a 97motherboard for the intel i7 4970, with an ssd 2.5in ? and does this come with fans |
Answer: | I have a Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming Edition (very long), so I believe all gtx 970 will fit. The motherboard only has to be MATX form and it doesn't matter what size of the cpu as long as it's compatible with your motherboard. There are 3 HDD drive cages (can also install ssd) + 3 SSD slots. It only comes with a 200mm fan in the front and it is loud. I would recommend good static pressure fans (140mm or 120mm your choices) - I used Enermax TB Silence PWM fans (dont buy the 900rpm version because to me they don't move enough air through the air filters) and they are dead silent if you're into that. Hope this helps :D |
Question: | What are the actual case dimensions? in inches, amazon says (l x w x h) (15.4 x 15.4 x 19), thermaltake says (h x w x d) (13.2 x 12.6 x |
Answer: | I'm not sure what those numbers are from Amazon, but Thermaltake's numbers are by far closer to reality. Actually, I think Thermaltake's numbers are pretty much spot on, but the height and length numbers they're quoting have the back thumbscrews and bottom legs included. The actual shell itself, yielding usable space, is roughly along the lines of: L x W x H = 16.25 in. x 12.6 in. x 12.6 in. Again, those are rough numbers, but when you add in the thumbscrew and leg lengths, you end up with approximately the measurements given by Thermaltake.Amazon's numbers are simply wrong. |
Question: | Will the cooler master hyper 212 evo fit |
Answer: | It depends. The mATX Core 21 will fit the 212 Evo. But, the mITX variant, is too short to fit one. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Are the hard drive bays in this computer cable of holding a ssd drive or do I have to buy a ssd bracket for this case |
Answer: | No, however it does come with a 4 pin to 8 pin adapter. It works fine for me. I have a Asus TUF B350M paired with a Ryzen 7 1700X OC to 3.75 GHz |
Question: | does the hyper 212 evo fit |
Answer: | All the ones I have (9 of them) include a 24-Pin Main Power Connector, a 4+4 Pin +12V CPU Power Connector, a Peripheral Power Connector, and 3 SATA Power Connectors. It is a TFX 12V power supply. |
Question: | How many fans can this case have |
Answer: | You have to use one which is parallel to the cpu and motherboard notvone which is vertical. Not sure which mine is but works flawlessly |
Question: | what kind of motherboards can be used |
Answer: | Yes it has a 275W power supply. |
Question: | Can i fit a total of 3 hds in this case? 1 ssd and 2x 3.5" hds |
Answer: | Doing the math, the Wraith cooler would barely fit into the computer case here. I would however not recommend using that cooler in this case. |
Question: | Does psu has 4+4 cpu connector |
Answer: | No, only micro atx |
Question: | What are all the connectors on the PSU |
Answer: | I have 4 of these, the stand has always been included. |
Question: | what is the maximum cpu cooler height |
Answer: | yes. I carry my D5200 in it with either an 18-55mm or 55-300mm lens attached and the other in the storage pocket. |
Question: | does it have a power supply |
Answer: | I don't have this specific camera or these lenses, but I am familiar with their dimensions. The camera with the 18-70mm lens attached will fit into the bottom (main) compartment with no problem. You *may* be able to fit the 70-210mm lens in the top compartment, but it might be a tight fit (I am assuming you have a Minolta "beercan" lens or something similar, about 6" long). I do not think you will be able to fit the camera with the 70-210mm lens mounted in the bottom compartment. You might be able to put the camera and the unmounted 70-210mm lens side by side in the bottom compartment - I wouldn't do that with my equipment, but it is up to you. |
Question: | Can this fit a 125 watt amd wraith cooler |
Answer: | I have a D7100 with a nikon 55-300mm and it fits.... its a tight fit... not sure what the dimensions are on the 18-200... it also fits with my tokina 12-24mm wide angle len.. |
Question: | Will this also fit an ATX motherboard |
Answer: | Yes these pictures are very deceiving, and I wrote that in my review after I received it last year. The picture of the compartment with the camera is the same one they show with the accessories.I think they are trying to show there's a little amount of storage area left when stowing your camera. There is a little compartment at the top the maybe you can use for a small lens or a flash, they don't show that compartment. It's the dome at top. I couldn't really use it for the larger digital camera, nikon d800, and a mid sized lens, but I have been able to use it with my d5300 and my v1. The v1 is a small compact digital with removal lens, I store the camera up top in the dome, spare lens flash and battery in lower compartment.Bottom line, it's not as big as it looks. |
Question: | Where can I get the stand for this |
Answer: | This is incorrect, no way a Surface Pro fits inside this thing. |

Question: | How many fans does it come with? Any LED fans |
Answer: | It comes with 2 fans w/ no LEDs one on the top (140mm) and one on the back (12mm). Both are 3 pin connectors. |
Question: | Anyone else have a problem making their power supply line up with the bottom vent |
Answer: | It'll line up, it's just a really tight fit. You actually need to use a decent amount of effort to get it correctly into the case. I had a difficult time trying to put in my power supply as well. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this come with a power supply? If not, what would be recommended |
Answer: | Does not come with a power supply, but it's very flexible. Just make sure if you get an ATX motherboard that you get an ATX power supply (or micro, mini power supply). I'm using a non-modular that will require a lot of cable hiding, but there's plenty of space to hide cables out of the way. |
Question: | Can someone give me the exact specs to this case like width length and hight and also how much room is there for a CPU cooler |
Answer: | Everything you request is listed in the manufacturer's info above for the Cooler Master Cosmos II, but some of it conflicts with these answers. For example, CPU cooler height is shown as 190mm/7.48" (not 6.5mm/2.5"), which is more consistent with the large size/width of the case itself. It seems like these comments are not all about this case, so I suggest anyone considering it do his/her own research. |
Question: | To anyone who built in this case, and installed a non modular psu, how was it? I was thinking about buying a non modular sfx |
Answer: | I did. A PC&Power Cooling 1KW SR PSU that's about 12-15 years old and still going strong. The unused cables, just folded each cable and zip ties them and tucked them behind it. The PSU is huge too. It almost reaches the bottom HDD cages. Another benefit of this case as it won't fit in a lot of cases. |
Question: | Can this support three(3) red LED 80 mm fans? thanks |
Answer: | I believe it will only support two 80mm in the lower rear section of the case. The other rear fan on the upper section is a 120mm fan, as are the front two (or four if you double up with a radiator.) There is also a 240mm fan mounting on the top. |

Question: | Can the airflow be good? I want to put a 9900k in it but that generates up to 250w |
Answer: | Yes. |
Question: | Can you put a full size gpu like a gtx |
Answer: | Unfortunately, I used a Ryzen 4 core processor that keeps very cool with the included fan, so I don't have a good answer for that situation. I will say that I am delighted with the case. It is very solid, and very quiet. It also looks excellent in the stereo system. |
Question: | The dimensions seem large for a low-profile case. Did they mess up and give dimensions of the outer box? What is the actual dimensions |
Answer: | The "Product Dimensions: 20 x 17 x 7 inches ; 11 pounds" listed under the "Product Details" section are wrong. The metric dimensions listed above by the image are correct 440 mm (W) x 105 mm (H) x 350 mm (D) and convert to 17.3" W x 4.1" H x 13.8" D. It fits inside my home theater cabinet but make sure you remember to give 1-2" clearance behind it case for cable connections. The depth was my most limiting factor. It's a very nice compact case and I was able to build my first HTPC with it in about an hour. |
Question: | What power supply fits in this case |
Answer: | Hello,This case will support:Micro-ATX MotherboardsStandard ATX PSU (140mm depth limit)Two 3.5" drives (also compatible with 2.5" if needed)One 2.5" driveOne 5.25" drive (also compatible with one 3.5" or two 2.5" HDD/SSD)Four Low Profile PCIE slots with a width restriction of 2.95"Just make sure that the GPU that you put into this case has a low profile design when picking your components. Alternatively if you would like a case that can fit a full sized GPU, we would suggest that you look into our ML07B or ML08B cases. |
