It is recommended that you safely remove the drive before you hit that power switch on the hub.I have this hub and use it to access 1 4TB drive, 2 5TB drives and 1 8TB drive. That is a LOT of data to loose just because I got lazy.The one reason to have switches on a hub is so that you can have the drives OFF when not in use. Question:	Has anyone tried to connect one printer into it so 2 pc's can use the one printer
Answer:	I've got a thumb drive, joystick, mouse, and cooler master laptop fan all hooked up to this thing at the same time. It's a vital little accessory for laptops with too few USB ports.

Answer:	If plugging this into a USB 3.1 rev1 port (used to be 3.0) then all 4 of these ports will supply a combined 900 mA of power (.9A). No device will charge very fast with that. Most quick/fast charging requires 2.4 or 3A with the USB port on a computer will not supply (unless it has a special port for such a purpose).
Question:	Does it work with monitors
Answer:	For those who might be unaware, some USB devices require a powered USB hub. So it's not that this hub doesn't require external power, but that it doesn't offer it as an option and therefore supports fewer devices.

Question:	Does this work with hp laptop
Answer:	As a former firefighter myself I would say no. They would work in a pinch but you'd have to make many cuts to cut through the cable, not something you need to mess with while trying to disconnect the battery after a wreck. Someone makes a pliers that resembles a parrot's beak, a by-pass type cutter, that would be what you're looking for. Those would cut in one try. I'll see if I can find a pair on Amazon and relay the stock number.
Question:	Does this work well with an audio interface without interference or crazy feedback
Answer:	Over time and with use any tool will dull, but i have owned a pair for 10 years and used them on a regular basis and they still cut excellent. I have never used a better, more durable pair of side cutters.

Answer:	I'm an aircraft technicians assistant and use these to cut through aircraft approved wire, it will cut through that.

Answer:	Hopefully you will receive some feedback from the rabbit community, but to confirm the 74 01 140 can cut up to 1/8-inch (3.1 mm) medium-hard wire; 5/64-inch (2.0 mm) hard wire, and 1/16-inch (1.5 mm) piano wire. 14 AWG is approximately 2.08 mm squared so this tool may work for your project.
