Answer:	I leave mine in the microwave all the time. I have not noticed any deterioration or issues. I have microwaved items for more than 2 minutes with it in the microwave. I take it out and wash it when it gets spilled on.

Answer:	The main thing that separates the two is the single hand system on the gerber. While holding the diesel in the correct spot, the tool is easily opened and closed with one hand. The diesel also has a bit more of a tactical look than the rebar. I also like the way all the tools lock in place on the diesel. Both are good quality, and some people may not like the single hand opening. But personally i like the one hand opening and prefer Gerber.

Answer:	I read somewhere that some of the cheaper Gerber tools are made in China. Like the Bear Grills junk. I believe these are made there as well. I have a slightly older pair of M400 sport and the quality difference is nite and day. These are are made a lot cheaper. Go with the M600 or M400 they are made a lot better then these cheap feeling pieces of crap. So disappointed with these. They are still better than most of the other multitools out there but junk compared to the M600 or M400 which by the way have made in the USA stamped in them. Unlike these.

Answer:	We had a preemie, so our room needs to be @ 72 degrees at all times. Sometimes because of the structure of our house, our room peaks @ 77 degrees. We love the micro-fleece but always worry that it could be too warm. In those cases, we make sure his pajamas are a lighter cotton & less layered. We do have muslin A&A sacks & we love those, too. We never used any of our cotton sleep sacks yet. I know it doesn't fully answer your question but you're probably good anyway you choose.
