| Answer: | Like most of all Logitech gaming products all the buttons are relatively silent. They use micro switches and when compared to background noise they remain close to not detectable. The only button that makes any clicking noise that I can tell is the button that allows you to go from a free scroll wheel to a mechanical click scroll wheel. I assume it has something to do with the clicking mechanism in the mechanical option. Other than the mouse is fine and great for gaming. I am glad I went this version since the cord is thinner and doesn't fight you when you move, a ban of existence in previous generations of mice. |

In a wired mouse this won't make any difference whatsoever. But in a wireless mouse, it will make a huge difference in battery life. Unfortunately, at the time of this writing, the only wireless mouse with the HERO16K is the Logitech Pro Wireless. The G603 has the HERO12K sensor. |

| Answer: | I have several G502s and NONE of them have ever had a right click problem and I literally do nothing but just use my mice. Never taken any apart. I use one for work and one at home, both have no problems. The scroll wheels don't free spin for as long due to something breaking down in the mechanism, they spin for awhile but not as long as when new. Otherwise, no idea what right click issue you're talking about. |

| Answer: | I’ve owned this mouse before and if nothing’s changed it will turn off and stay off if it doesn’t receive a signal from the receiver. So if you sleep your computer and press the mouse button, it turns off because there’s no reply. It won’t turn back on until it gets a signal from the receiver again. |

| Answer: | It has an ON switch that is very annoying. After some time (5-10 min) the mouse goes to sleep. It must be woken up by pressing the button below the scroll wheel. If you walk away or pause for 10 minutes you MUST press the button. It seems like I press the dumb button 10x per day. It's not horrible, but it certainly doesn't deserve to be in a 4.5-5 star mouse. I'd give it 3 at most because of this dumb design, and I will probably replace it with something a bit ... smarter. |

| Answer: | Definitely try another USB port if not a completely different PC, and if it turns out to be that the mouse itself did indeed "die," well then since you're within the warranty period just contact Logitech and they'll send you a new mouse. Problem solved! |

| Answer: | Yes you can, for the software, even if it is not supported on your system, for instance on xbox or linux. The mouse has storage built in to it, therefore meaning, that if you configue the mouse with the software, then no matter what device you plug it into; whether it be a windows machine, mac, console, etc, settings such as dpi, macros, color, etc will be saved and used directly from the mouse itself. NOTE, i am not sure if this is still a thing, but sometimes you have to look in settings and check a setting that goes something like the following, "save settings to mouse, use onboard storage, etc" |

| Answer: | This is a 3 button mouse with two extra features built into the scroll wheel. Push the scroll wheel left or right and it will go back or forward when surfing the internet on any browser. This is an excellent mouse in my opinion without the need for two side buttons for this feature. The mouse buttons are also programmable for ease of use for any user. |

| Answer: | The scroll wheel is about 99% smooth as you can feel the notches if you really think about it. It has no rolling resistance but you can scroll a few lines at a time when you get used to it. That is a good thing if you want to scroll fast, but a bad thing when you try to "select" something by clicking the scroll wheel as you will probably miss it as with your finger being on the wheel, any tiny movement will make it move. My work-around to this is, if I am in the browser and want to put something into a tab, I right click the item (brings up the menu) and then hit "T" to open in a new tab. If you are in maybe a word processor and want to select a file to open, you can right click the file, bring up the menu and click on "open". I find that after you get used to doing this, it is maybe a little faster and no chance of an error (think "drag and drop" as opposed to "cut or copy and paste").Except for this one thing about the scroll wheel, I really like the mouse. Being able to turn it off without removing the sender from the computer or keyboard or hub is a big plus for me. I've had mine for 3 months now and I really like it. |
