Answer:	Seems to be a thin latex. Works great for me. I use it over my CNC router keyboard to protect it from saw dust. I have only used one so far. About a month of daily use.

I was very impressed with the quality when I open the package, because after reading all the reviews I assumed the bibs were actually plastic, but it appears o nylon which will be easy to wash.

I haven't had any issues with slipping off the keys as some people have noted. Such a great price compared to the ones sold at Apple. Highly recommend. Answer:	Yes, if correctly closed. I saltwater shore fish, and one time (stupidly) too far out on the lave rocks, a monster wave knocked my arse clear into the water. I was amazed how the backpack kept me afloat, albeit face-down! Once I got my bearings and made it to the shore, I inspected the bag. All of my gear inside was dry! I suppose there is a limit of depth and/or internal mass before the pressure/gravity would breach the bag, but I am not willing to experiment to discover it!
