1. Insert 2 x AA batteries

2. Switch on the operating systems of your device (Mac OS X by default operating system Switch on the backside of the keyboard)

Answer:	I don't have it in front of me, but the probe is at least 4', maybe 6'. I don't see any reason this wouldn't work well in a pool or hot tub.

Answer:	Command+shift+4 works just fine, to give you the crosshair screenshot mode on your mac. I use it all the time as well.

Answer:	Although I originally thought I wanted them separate, and worried about the possible separation distance (which is indeed 8-9 inches), I've actually found that I like the keyboard better when the two parts are hinged together. Overall, Love the keyboard! Great ergonomics.

Answer:	It's large; haven't got a tape measure handy, but I had hoped it'd be smaller and more portable; it's at least the size of your standard desktop-computer keyboard. The actual surface area it takes up will be even more because of it's configurability (i.e. not supposed to be in a simple rectangle format).

Answer:	Kerry Gold is wider - I would have to say not unless you cut it. This fits a normal butter stick. I love the way it seals and measurements right on the bottom part, although it is sometimes tough to open.

Answer:	You should contact Kinesis about this. They have a signature series, which they build to order. Perhaps they might be willing & able to use blue switches in one of those.
Question:	do the hand rests make typing more comfortable? Or necessary
Answer:	There is a number pad built into the right-hand side of the keyboard. You activate it by pressing one of the function row keys that is dedicated to the purpose. Use can use any mouse with it, including one the Kinesis sells. I just use a standard logitec M310 wireless mouse.
