Answer:	It does not look like the device power is PWM (pulse width modulated) because it is electronically controlled (unlike other resistive or infrared hot plates). However, that's not to say that the power output going in the coil is not duty cycled. Answer:	NO!!! I have been with Roku for 10-15 years & I've NEVER been charged an activation fee. I set up my new Express this past Friday 07/31/2020. When the screen came up, it gave me an activation code. All I had to do was go to the Roku website & log-in. Then I clicked on "Activate" in the upper right of the screen. A box came up asking for my activation code. I entered the code & in less than 30 seconds I saw the "Welcome to Roku" come across my TV screen. Any chance that you owed Roku for past charges??? We plugged in our RCA cable into one side converter and then to the TV, (It is the 3 pronged red, yellow, and white ended cable we used to use to connect our VCRs to the TV back in the 1990s that we never threw away-ha ha!). Answer:	Ignore everyone who told you to get the iPad. You said you weren't getting an iPad Pro. Any other iPad will not work well for an artist as the pencil is only for the iPad pro. That immediately rules out the iPad as an option. I have the iPad pro 12.9 3rd Gen and I love it! I also have a Wacom 24" HD and I also love it! Both devices are excellent and perform the jobs they were designed to do extremely well. Your question was specific to a 15 year old who wants to eventually be an art major. So my answer will be specific to your question. Any art major in the digital world will be required to learn and use Photoshop. iPad does not have a full and complete version of Photoshop. It does have a very good art program called Procreate, which is great and I love using it, but it's not Photoshop. Giving a 15 year old an iPad and having him spend the next 3 years working in Procreate, only to have him then switch to a wacom and learn Photoshop in college is a waste of time. Answer:	Yes it does, if you don't use it fast. Normal writing speeds will leave the ink bleeding through the page. I use mine for signing documents because I sign fast and it looks nice. That's the only real use I see for this pen, in my opinion.

Answer:	It wrote on my cable to my phone charger. However, it did rub off easily. Not sure about the hard plastic connections.

Answer:	Some of these colors SHOW two colors in one. For example, using the black pen, on white paper it shows red mixed in the black, sometimes even more red than black. Look at Pentel hybrid pens. The colors and color mixes are almost identical. Pentel is trying to market these and hybrids as having double the colors of ink but really, it's only "doubled" if you write on a different color of paper (black and white). These are VERY glittery and pretty but try them out first before coloring a prized picture.

Answer:	No, this is essentially just a drawing pad that will upload your strokes to its own personal app. Then you can move it to a different software like Photoshop. It's really buggy

Answer:	If the guitar hero guitars are the size of electric or acoustic guitars, it will easily hold yours. If they are smaller it will probably still hold them upright but the base may have to rest on the floor instead of the rack if they are too small. It holds my dobro, acoustic guitar, bass and mountain dulcimer. The dulcimer has to rest on the floor because it isn't wide enough to rest on the bottom rack but it has never fallen.
