Answer:	No not until you configure the hub to do so. After its configured, the hub will automatically send you notifications to your phone when the Fibaro DS is tripped, but you do have to configure your hub first.

Answer:	I have the fibaro door sensor and Lynx Touch 5100. Right now I'm still unable to use it under Zone despite the unit enrolled succesfully.
Question:	Can the switch inputs act independently from the relays (i.e., can they be used as general dry inputs without affecting the outputs
Answer:	Yes, you can disable local control and have the inputs not trigger the relays. However, any commands sent to operate the relays will override the current status of the inputs until their state changes.

Answer:	Anything zwave may have signal problems if placed inside a metal box. Will depend on how far the nearest repeater or the hub is. Best bet is to expect a problem
