With that said, the core of it is really that you are using an Input device (Like your mouse, Trackpad, Keyboard, etc for example), you can navigate by controlling your cursor and perform the same actions you can with your mouse, but just at a whole different level of interaction with features such as Pen pressure, tilt, etc. Now that said, have in mind that what you want to do with the tablet will depend on the software that you want to use with it, and there are many out there you can use for animation. Answer:	I haven't tested this tablet with Smart Notebook, but I used a Monoprice tablet that was a few years old with Smart Notebook version 18 without any problems. There is a learning curve to writing or writing equations with a tablet. I'm looking at buying this one for something smaller.

Answer:	They come as a pair. I have been using them for a long time. You do have to replace the outer covers and tip after a while, but they still last longer than wood sticks if you do a lot of rim shots, like I do.
