Answer:	When it first starts up, it’s quite soft, but as time progresses during use, the motor gets a little louder. Unless you’re planning on using it for a long period of time, I don’t think it’s loud enough to bother your co-workers. Then again, your unit may be softer or louder than mine, so it’s really hard to say.

From what I can tell they are not using any sort of anti static technology which means static can build up and discharge into your computer parts and destroy them. This is why technicians use compressed air. If vacuum has blow setting you can use that.

The Metro VAC made for that purpose is the "Metro Vacuum MDV-2TA DataVac/2 Pro Series Toner Vac, 1.17-HP Motor" There are also other models of the Metro DataVac that can Vacuum Toner. Look up the description of each one to see if it mentions Toner or optional Toner bags. Otherwise you will be breathing toner dust! I have an MDV-3 DataVac at work. Answer:	I don't see why it wouldn't. The end of the hose is the same size as a vacuum. Inside diameter of hose adapter (connects to vacuum hose) 1 1/4" Outer diameter 1 1/2". Inside diameter of hose connector (additional size adapter) 1 1/16" Outer diameter 1 1/4".My Dyson connects easily to the hose adapter. My Eureka is REALLY tight.I really do like mine. The extra power of a big vac really helps pull out the dust. I imagine reversing the direction on a shop vac would be really nice.The only concern I would have with the shop vac is it's power. You are going from a 1 1/2" hose down to a 1/4" hose. I don't know that I would use it on delicate items without testing it first. If it is too strong perhaps creating additional vent holes either in the hose or adapter. You can use duct or electrical tape to close later if needed.Good Luck to you. I hope this was helpful.

Answer:	You can use the vacuum mode for the PC if you use the small attachments provided. My wife uses the vacuum inside her sewing machines to remove the dust. She never blows into the machines as this could push the dust into very sensative parts and could cause major damage. With the small attachments the suction is enough but not too strong.
