Answer:	I don't have any roland boutique equipment, but I use the cables to run my keyboard into my MIDI controlled Carousel Pipe Organ, and also to run a SD card reader into my keyboard to play ragtime and stride music. If your equipment had MIDI "in", and MIDI "out" or MIDI "thru", this cable will connect the devices.

Answer:	To my knowledge, this is a standard 5 pin MIDI cable, with pin 2 being shield, pin 4 being voltage reference line, and pin 5 being data line. Typically in MIDI implementation pins 1 and 3 aren't used as they would be with a 5 pin DIN cable. However, 5 pin DIN cables can be used as MIDI cables, but not the other way around. Considering how this listing indicates this cable as a 5 pin DIN 'connector', it's difficult to say if it has the same pinout as 5 pin DIN, or if it just shares the same connection type. I know for sure it works in situations that involve MIDI though.

Answer:	Good question. Unfortunately I don't have a definitive answer. The way I see it you will need to have the AMC-4 Audio/MIDI cable connected to the FR-7x and connect THAT to the UM-ONE MK2 which would be connected to your computer (USB port). The AMC-4 cable makes all MIDI data available from the FR-7x and the UM-ONE MK2 can receive that info into your computer. Whether the info from the pedal is sent via MIDI or is just local to the FR-7x is what I don't know. Good luck!

Answer:	Hello, honestly, it depends on your ears, right? I initially had to go wireless too. Most of my listening library is my own ripped CDs, and I thought things sounded great. I don't really listen to the hi-fi streaming services, so cannot comment on them. However, I recently upgraded to a mesh wi-fi system and put a satellite router with my stereo system and now am going hardwired. There is a dedicated 866Mbps link from router to satellite, and things still sound great. A lot better? Don't really know. I've had my CXN for a year and love it. Of course, I'm a 57 year old musician who has been playing in bands for over 30 years, so maybe my ears are so bad now, I don't know what I'm missing?

I bought a 30ft active cable and now it works perfectly.
