Answer:	I use this cable with a Jackery Explorer 240 and 500. I use Sunpower panels but almost any panel with the correct voltage should work. One potential snag could be that with solar panels in general it is possible that the SAE connections could be reverse polarity. In my experience this possibility is just the nature of using SAE connections. If the charging light on your Jackery does not come on when using this adapter to connect it to a solar panel there is a good chance that the polarity is reversed. Easy fix, just use the reverse polarity adapter that is included with this item. If you don’t have one, they are easy to find. When connected correctly, using a 50watt solar panel, the light on my Jackery comes on even when the solar panel is exposed to very little light. Early in the morning and late in the evening the charge light will glow even when there is not enough power coming from the solar panel to activate the charge. Obviously there would be a limit to how low the light can be to rely on this, but my point is just that if your panel is getting sunlight and the charge light does not come on, check the polarity and the fit of the connections. A multimeter makes this much more clear, but with the charge light working at voltage well below the level required to activate the display and the charging process it can be diagnosed even without access to a multi meter. If the solar panel is completely exposed to full direct sunlight and the charge light on the Jackery comes on but the display never activates my first check would be to make sure the solar panel you are using is rated to at least 12 volts when under load (open circuit voltage of ~21.6). If using a multimeter to check the panel I would want to see a minimum of 17 volts at the end of the cable closest to the Jackery, ideally it would be close to 21.6 volts or more if it is a true 12 volt solar panel. If the panel voltage is good enough, but the voltage at the end of your cable is too low to trigger a charge, you may need to use shorter and/or thicker cables between this adapter and your panel.

Answer:	I've had no problem using these cables to transfer data. They aren't USB 3.0 capable, only USB 2.0 so not the fastest data transfer rates. Does your current cable still charge your phone? Have you tried connecting your phone and cable to a different computer?
