Answer:	The red and black conductors are twisted inside the white PVC jacket. That’s what a twisted pair is in this context. Its done to reduce electromagnetic interference. Answer:	Remove, i don't think so...if anything do the install and paint the baseboard and cables all together. I did my install along the baseboard without doing anything...and it bkends just fine. I don't see the need to do anything at all.

Answer:	I purchased the 12 gauge wire (CL 2 rated for in wall use) for my speaker system since I had a run between receiver and speakers of over 50'. This wire is not solid single strands (they're multiple twisted wire similar to what you would see with lamp cord but a much higher grade) although I know that you can buy solid strand conductor for a very high cost. With the Cable Matters brand it is made of pure copper multiple strand twisted wires per conductor which for my use worked just fine with my Yamaha receiver and speaker system. Just be aware that for relatively short runs (less than 50 feet) to 8 ohm speakers, 16 gauge wire will usually do just fine. It's cost-effective and easy to work with but if you are really wanting single strand conductors look elsewhere and be prepared to pay a very high price for the single strand conductors.

Answer:	Hi, I have not tried this on an android so I can't say for sure. The one thing to keep in mind is that you need a full size usb port, and not a mini port, which most androids I've seen have. If the android has a full size usb port, I can't think why it wouldn't work, its a great product.

Answer:	I initially responded "I don't know". But I really think it would depend on your car stereo. I'm doubtful. It worked great on my computer that has no microphone input to record old cassettes onto a sound file. But if your car had a USB input I would imagine it's only searching for data files. I hate prople that answer questions without knowledge or facts and I know it's what I'm doing but I'd be very skeptical.

Answer:	Tried it on a USB 3 Hub with Windows 10. When I plugged it in the audio driver was corrupted and I got no sound at all. tried reloading and updating drivers, but had to revert to previous OS restore point to get sound back. So far my Windows 10 adventure has corrupted video and audio drivers, to the extent that I am thinking more and more about switching to Linux.

Answer:	Mine are absolutely NOT soldered (or anything else) securely. When I first got them I noticed the banana terminal would spin in the plug end. Initially I figured they must screw in, so I started trying to do so. They never got tighter. They evidently are in a lose collar, which should mean higher than necessary resistance and possible arcing. I hope the company will address this. Is it normal?

Answer:	Hi..Interesting question..These HIGH-GRADE cables do comes in different lengths, and would look great as a speaker connection..BUT NO, most likely NO..The ends of the 12AWG cables are designed of a specific fitting connector. The ends of these cables are a banana type connector. This end would be larger than you (push-in) wire type speaker connection. An easy fix might me to get some nice copper (stranded) probably 16 AWG to 18 AWG, strip the ends twist the strands in a tight wind, and put some solider on the ends..This is referred to as "tinning the wire" this will strengthen the end, for repeated use..if you know how to use "shrink wrap"..you could also use some shrink wrap to reinforce the sheath of the wire as well..This would look nice, and you could tell people how you built something... OR.. you could just twist the ends of the, attach it to the speakers and leave it alone..Good LuckMave

Answer:	A brand new coiled cable is 18 inches long. It's tough to stretch the cable to 6 feet as the coiling makes it difficult and the cable will try to re-coil. When the cable is stretch a good amount it will not re-coil to the original 18 inches. Hope this helps.
