The wiring is inside the long cable only, from the Micro-USB to the Type-A plug, while the C and Lightning are just adapters that can be joined to the Micro end to change the plug shape at the termination of the wire. The C and Lightning are simply tethered to the main cable to keep them at the ready for your use, not wired through the main cable. |
