12 best c2g sata cables

A C2G coax splitter, also known as a coaxial splitter or TV signal splitter, is a device used in home entertainment and cable or satellite TV setups. These splitters are part of the Audio Video Accessories category and are designed to distribute a single coaxial signal to multiple devices, allowing you to connect multiple televisions, cable boxes, or other devices to a single incoming coaxial cable. Here's what you should know about C2G coax splitters:

  1. Function: The primary function of a coax splitter is to take the incoming coaxial cable signal and split it into two or more separate output signals. Each output can then be connected to a separate device, such as a TV or cable box.

  2. Types: C2G offers various types of coax splitters, including 2-way, 3-way, 4-way, and higher configurations. The number indicates how many output connections the splitter has. For example, a 2-way splitter has one input and two output ports.

  3. Frequency Range: Coax splitters are designed to work within specific frequency ranges, which are typically suitable for cable TV, satellite TV, and over-the-air (OTA) antenna signals. Ensure that the splitter you choose supports the frequencies used by your specific service provider.

  4. Compatibility: Before purchasing a C2G coax splitter, make sure it is compatible with your cable or satellite TV setup and the devices you plan to connect. Different providers and setups may have specific requirements.

  5. Signal Loss: One important consideration when using coaxial splitters is signal loss. Each time a signal is split, there is some degree of signal loss.Higher-quality splitters often have lower signal loss, which is measured in decibels (dB). Be mindful of signal loss if you plan to split the signal multiple times.

  6. Installation: Installing a coax splitter is relatively straightforward. You connect the incoming coaxial cable to the input port of the splitter and then connect the output ports to your devices. Use appropriate coaxial cables and connectors for a secure and reliable connection.

  7. Signal Quality: Poorly installed or low-quality splitters can degrade signal quality, leading to issues like pixelation, signal dropouts, or reduced picture and sound quality. Using high-quality splitters and connectors can help maintain signal integrity.

  8. Amplification: In cases where signal loss is a concern due to multiple splits or long cable runs, you may consider using a signal amplifier (also known as a signal booster) in conjunction with the splitter to boost the signal strength.

  9. Maintenance: Periodically check and ensure that all connections are secure and free from corrosion or damage to maintain the best signal quality.

C2G coax splitters are commonly used in residential and commercial settings to distribute TV signals efficiently. When selecting a splitter, it's essential to consider your specific needs, the number of devices you want to connect, and the signal quality requirements to ensure a reliable and clear TV signal to all your devices.

Question: what is the gauge of the wires
Answer: Yes.... keep key in if you want to secure lock quickly and conveniently -or- remove key completely to prevent someone else from locking the bike on you.
Question: is 6 inches the length of the total adapter or the length of the wires
Answer: The Abus system gives you that option after you’ve bought the locks. You will get a “coupon” sort of thing with the new lock. I haven’t done it with my locks, but it seems simple enough. Check with Abus for the process.

User questions & answers

Question: can the 90 degree clip side be used in the ssd or does it only work in the motherboard
Answer: Normally, the 90 degree end goes to HD or SSD. On the motherboard, SATA connectors are placed close together making use of the 90 degree end limited, but possible.
Question: Just bought a samsung 850 evo 1tb 2.5-inch sata iii internal ssd for my gaming tower, should i buy the straight or 90 degree angle cables? thanks
Answer: If you are planning to install the solid state drive with the sata connector facing one of the side panels then you probably want a 90 degree because a straight will have trouble making that bend. A lot of newer cases have alternative mounting places where a 90 degree angle cable wouldn't work. Basically it depends where the drive is mounted.
Question: What is the difference between Right 90 or Left 90? when it comes to applying 2ND hard drive for PC Backup only
Answer: This would depend on how you are mounting the drive - if it would be in the case, then if it's mounted to the left or right (long-ways on the motherboard connection) is how you would determine which 'bend' you want. If you are mounting externally, then you would want the bend to work out so that the drive would not be upside down.
Question: Is this all i need for a hardrive? Cable wise
Answer: Depends. Is it an internal hard drive or external? These cables are for internal mounted SATA hard drives & SSD's (Solid State Drives). If your drive is internal, you will also need to power the drive from the power supply (PSU), so make sure you have an extra hard drive power cable coming from your PSU; it can be either the old style bigger 4 wire kind or the newer SATA power connector, unless your hard drive only has the new power supply connector (it looks like the end of these connectors, except it is a little wider). Smaller 2.5" drives (laptop size drives) usually only have the SATA type power connector; and the older 4 pin connectors are probably being phased out, though they are not extinct yet. These cables work for SATA I, II & III; the difference between I, II, & III is speed: I maxes at 1.5 Gb/s. II at 3Gb/s, III at 6Gb/s; both the HD and the motherboard SATA types will be rated at one of these three speeds. It is best to match speeds, but not absolutely necessary; mismatched speeds will work (they just won't be as efficient - e.g. hooking a SATA III drive to a SATA II mobo slot will work, but the potential max data transfer speed will be limited by the slower connector.. theoretically). Make sure your HD is SATA (I, II or III) - not eSATA (external SATA) USB, Firewire, TB (thunderbolt) or any of the newer formats like SATA express, PCI express or M.2 (if it is not an SSD, you can probably rule out the new formats). Check here for more info on drive types: https://rog.asus.com/articles/product-news/ssd-guide-pci-express-m-2-msata-and-sata-express-the-differences-explained/ ..or Google SATA, IDE (the older connector type), SATA express, mSATA, M.2, etc. The long answer: If your hard drive & motherboard were made in the last 5 - 7 years, and the drive is meant to be Internal (i.e. mounted inside the case - more importantly, hooked directly to the motherboard), then yes.. Well, you need to make sure you have an extra H.D. power connecter coming from your power supply (and your power supply needs to supply enough wattage to run everything in your system - a basic system with few internal peripherals can run on a P.S.U rated at 300 - 500 watts; if you have e.g. 6 hard drives, two high power graphics cards and an energy consuming CPU, you would need a P.S.U. rated higher - 650 - 1000 watts). There are also new SATA express PCI express and NVE M.2 Solid State Drives that mount directly in a slot on a motherboard - the PCI express and M.2 types don't usually need an extra power source but the motherboard has to have that kind of slot. It's a little like a PCIex1 slot, but not exactly. If you have a solid state drive and it looks a bit like a memory strip or a small video card, then it is some form of PCI express or M.2. If it looks like a laptop or desktop drive, it is most likely SATA, unless it is over 5 - 7 years old.. then it could be IDE (the older type that has a long data connector with a bunch of pins).

User questions & answers

Question: Is this cable compatible with the samsung 850 EVO ssd
Answer: The one I received was red.
Question: Does StarTech's lifetime warranty cover damage caused by the cable should anything happen
Answer: Be careful doing that. The adapter will work, but trying to pull much power through a fan hub or fan header on a motherboard (typically 1A+) can fry hardware. Fan hubs and headers aren't designed to carry much load typically.

User questions & answers

Question: Will this work with the western digital western digital 400gb re2 7200rpm 16mb cache sata 1.5gb/s 3.5" hard drive
Answer: I didn't receive anything saying it had a lifetime warranty. So to answer your question, no.
Question: I have an old hd that runs its power from a 4 pin molex. However my new power supply only has sata power plugs. Wanted to know if this will work
Answer: sata spec allows for 1 meter length. *( 39.37 inches ). Longer then that and you could start suffering from line noise. Under 12 inches isn't recommended by hard drive manufacturers like seagate, for line noise / timing issues. 18 inches is safe. So is 24 / 36 inches for that matter ...
Question: Will this work with this? http://www.amazon.com/blue-desktop-hard-disk-drive/dp/b0088puepk?ie=utf8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s
Answer: It should I installed mine on a Dell Tower. The length was just perfect. The hard drives were installed perpindicular to the case. This was the ony option for the hard drives. If you have a small case you may look at a shorter cable unless you have extra room. If you have a tight spot this is perfect because the "right hand" on the cable. I haven't had a problem with the cable either. Good Luck to you!
Question: Can i power a fan hub that has a female molex header with this. my psu doesn't have molex...can sata power it
Answer: I bought this and is using in for an optical drive. It works. As long your optical drive has SATA jack, it will work. In your case, just do not expect it to reach the SATA 3.0 (6Gb/s) speed.

User questions & answers

Question: Is this compatible with Mac
Answer: There are ways to get it to work. But is it worth it. There are cable adapters that will let you go from a 4 pin molex ( which has 5 volt and 12 volt pins with 2 ground pins ). To the newer SATA power connector. But I don't recall seeing a cable adapter allowing you to do the opposite which is what you are trying to do. They maybe available but you are going to have to look for them. Then you are also trying to go from a Serial Data SATA to a Parallel Data PATA. There maybe something available on the market like that but 'does it work' is the issue. If you have a new motherboard which does not have any PATA connections that is going to be a big issue right there. The really 'old drives' are really slow and they lack the features of the modern drives. Then the issue of 'poor performance' is present with the older drives. In other words if you can solve all of the problems in getting the 'older drive' to work, 'is it worth it in the end'. I really don't think so.For about $15.00 you can get a 80GigaByte SATA Hard drive from 3B-Tech and TXMicro which I have purchased from with no problems The 120GB SATA and 160GB SATA will only cost a few dollars more. These are available on Pricewatch.comYou could easily spend that kind of money getting your 'older drive' to work with your new power supply. If you are still using a motherboard with only PATA connections then you might want to look at a power supply which has the older molex 4 pin connectors. Look on Pricewatch.com again for another power supply. Hopes all of this helps and is not too confusing.
Question: Will this work with an old 250MB Zip atapi drive
Answer: Yes, it will work, It is one of the two cables needed for this type of HDD for PSU that don't have that type of connection. You also need a SATA data cable.
Question: I plugged in my ide drive. driver installed, but i do not see the disk. hard drive is sitting idle. what am i missing
Answer: I am pretty sure that the answer to your question is yes. This connector is for sata male connector on motherboard to female molex connector on peripheral. I believe I used it for powering a molex connector on auxiliary cdrom. But, to be honest, I am not completely confident in my answer. I don't have the equipment anymore to look and see. I haven't had anything molex for years and years. Fortunately, the risk of making a mistake will only cost you $5.
Question: Can i mount my old ide 3.5 drives on a macbook eventhough their all from/formatted on a pc using this product
Answer: no its not, Should be this one http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-SATA-Drive-Adapter-Cable/dp/B00HJZJI84/ref=sr_1_23?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1448406121&sr=1-23&keywords=sata+3+cable

User questions & answers

Question: Will this work for Xbox one s
Answer: If you are connecting externally, then no. Usually external SATA connections use eSATA, which the Xbox also does not use. You should find a USB 3 storage device and cable.
Question: Does this cable work with asus pro d641sc
Answer: It will if the connectors are the same which they probably are. Look at the connectors on your machine. If your machine needs a Molex connector it won't work.
Question: how well do these work with blue ray players
Answer: It Works on all SATA Connection Blue Ray Or Not
Question: Are these straight and 90 degree plugs? How many of each
Answer: One I bought had what the description says; it's a pack of 3. Also one head is straight and one head is 90 degrees on all 3 in case what you meant was that you thought they had mixed types in the bag. So 3 with one end straight, the other 90 degrees. Oddly enough, because of the picture... When I bought it, I was a little confused and thought it had a bendable head so you could choose straight or 90 but that's not the case. The description made more sense after I got the product. Hope my description made sense.
