Answer:	Yes the EX8000 used as a wifi extender you have the option of having a guest network. You can use same SSID name as your main router or use a different SSID altogether. I did have issues with more than one extender on the same network using same SSID name as main router so I had to change one of the extenders to a different SSID.
Question:	Has anyone connected a ps4 of xbox one to the wifi from the range extender? if so, signal and game play any good
Answer:	If you mean an AT&T router signal, yes. If you mean cell tower signal, then no.
Question:	Does it create a new sid or does it exteneded your current sid, so one does not have to switch to differing networks when in range
Answer:	the input voltage is from 100 to 240 volts
Question:	I don't understand how some people give this 4-5 stars and others can't get it to work and give it 1 star
Answer:	there are 4 ports. I use multiple ones as this is the only system I can find that does not change the network name but once a year I also have one break and have to replace it or hard reset it myself.

Answer:	Theoretically, CAT5 works up to 100mbps, CAT5e works up to 1Gbps and CAT6 works up to 10Gbps. In practice you'll see something slightly different.I have gigabit internet. You would think that it shouldn't make a difference whether I have CAT5e or CAT6, but in reality, I get downloads and uploads of around 890-930mbps with CAT5e vs. 950-980 when using CAT6.
Question:	I need 30'. Will it affect performance to install 50' and tuck the extra into the wall, OR, would it be more effective to custom cut
Answer:	50 feet won't affect performnce; but rolloing up the extra in the wall is sloppy. I would buy bulk cable, fish through the wall, cut to length leaving a little extra for slack, install jacks, and use short jumpers at each end to get to my equipment. That's a much more professional and flexible solution.
Question:	is this cable rated for in wall installation
Answer:	It is not rated for in-wall use. CM rating is for general (patch cable) use. It does happen to be stranded, but the rating is all about the cable jacket. An in-wall rated cable will not give off as much toxic fumes in the event of a fire. This is especially critical in a building that has significant amount of cabling, but the law does not differentiate for small homes. That being said, many homeowners just pulling a few cables in their own home would go ahead and use this if it met their needs. If you have the tools and supplies to do your in-wall cabling with CMR rated wire, that's preferred from a code perspective, but won't make any difference for your data or the longevity of the wire in the wall. It's also generally preferred to use CMR wire terminated to keystone jacks in wall plates (which can be done without a crimp tool), and then use patch cables like these to go from the wall to your device.
