However, the housing is easy to pop open, wherein you'll find that the lens assembly is simply threaded into a plastic base piece on the PCB (which of course also contains the sensor chip). If you cut the blob(s) of glue that fix the lens assembly in place, you can then adjust the focus by twisting the assembly, as on most manual-focus cameras. It's a bit firm, so you may want to attach some kind of "handle" to the silver ring, just to give you something to grip easily once the housing is back together.
