Answer:	I used the old wiring harness on the old Ice maker. My old harness had a fuse in the harness. You might check the fuse if your harness has one.

Answer:	It has been awhile, but I believe it only requires a Philips screwdriver. There are 3 screws that hold it in place, and a wire harness to transfer. I'm guessing on the Philips part, as it might be a 1/4" nutdriver.
