For example, a lure that is designed to dive like a crankbait will bring the camera down with it to whatever depth that lure wishes to be at. A non-diving lure such as a swimbait or neutral buoyant lures will not be affected on a slow perpetual retrieve, but if you do a fast troll or retrieve it will want to rise.
