Answer:	I am on a lake and it shows the markers there. You will load the Navionics card and it should show everything you want. It is also very easy to set waypoints so you can mark spots to hit or avoid. Go to raymarine axiom tips on you tube and you can see all the features of the unit.
Question:	Just received my axiom kit and didn't install it yet. where is supposed to be the navionics maps, installed in the mfd? i didn't get a memory card
Answer:	I bought the axiom kit with Navionics and did not receive a card and was not able to install/test for several months. When I learned I did not have the Navionics maps, Amazon would no longer resolve the issue. I ended up buying the card to gain the functionality I originally purchased through the kit. I highly encourage you to resolve ASAP to avoid any additional cost.

Answer:	I have used my MEGA G-3 unit with the transducer that came with my G-2 unit. It works fine but needs to be identified in the settings. I have also used it with he transducer that came with the MEGA G-3 unit. It has what they call MEGA capabilities which do improve the image quality some.

Answer:	Chart cards are avail and compatible with navionic cards
Question:	Does a operating manual come with it
Answer:	There is a small manual that comes with and I believe you can download a more detailed one. I used youtube videos to familiarize myself with all the stuff.
Question:	I am interested in moving the unit from my party barge to my fishing boat. How can I get another transducer and power cord
Answer:	I only have mine on my kayak, but would check at humminbird web site or even look on Ebay for the parts you need. But I think the transducer is expensive.
Question:	Does this use 2 seperate transducers or does 1 do both side and down imaging
Answer:	It's a single transducer. You select the mode and frequency range on the hummingbird.

Digital CHIRP

CHIRP stands for 'Compressed High Intensity Radar Pulse.' That’s a fancy way of saying it can show you fish that other forms of 2D sonar can’t. How’s that? CHIRP scans the water for fish similar to the way the seek function on your truck’s radio scans the airwaves for FM stations.
