I don’t know if you’ll have any issues with the distance between the display (in cab) and the rear of the trailer, given that it connects via Bluetooth. But regarding night visibility, you’ll be fine.

The height of the license plate must be less than 6.97", or Solar 1 can't be installed.

The length of the licence plate doesn't matter , but you need to make sure that the distance between the upper screw is 6.57" to 7.36".

The distance between the door handle and the top of the license plate must be greater than 0.8 inches, or your car may be restricted from installing this product.

Answer:	The picture from the camera and monitor are really clear. It is a little difficult to see if glare or direct sunlight are hitting the screen.

Answer:	Don't really understand your question? If you're saying that you need that, contact the seller- he's very good about! I think he even mentioned that he had a windshield mount. If your asking if you need either one, I would say no; I installed mine on an F-150, and prob. have 5-6 ft. coiled up under the seat. Unless you're installing it on the back of a trailer, that would be interesting? and I'm just not a fan of window mounts- I don't feel they're very secure, and it comes with a pretty good dash mount(easily modified to sit on my center console). More at issue (certainly with my truck) was that it put the screen too far away to really be able see it very well! Especially the smaller monitor- consider upgrading to the 7in. Answer:	Depends in how you plan to get it into the cab but probably not. I have a crew cab and a 6ft bed and run it up through the engine compartment and then into the cab I needed an extension and a female to female RCA adapter to make the run.

Question:	On a dodge caravan, how did you run the wire the length of the van without it showing
Answer:	I installed on a pickup truck. Attached the camera to the license plate and got power from the tail lights. Ran the video wire under the bed protection to the cab; followed the truck's diver to the door, and into the overlap of the interior door frame panel. Followed the path inside the panels to the dash, and mounted the monitor on the dash. Got power to monitor by wiring from switch under the dash and into the interior panels. The interior panels are just screw on, so loosen those and tuck the wires in.

What is auto adjusting brightness feature?

The screen brightness will adjust automatically according to the environment's lighting conditions. In brighter conditions, the display will increase its brightness to improve the image's viewability. In darker conditions, it will decrease its brightness so as not to over-stimulate the driver's eyes.

Question:	Does this dash cam record with the rear cam all the time like the front cam
Answer:	The camera body is incorporated in the 3rd light lense and fits perfectly in the light opening. Prior to installation, however, you'll have to unscrew the original lense and detach LED light panel from the back and clip it on to the camera/light. Also, if your Commander display (thats how dealer refers to the audio/radio/ display unit) does not have camera option (when you press system button), or, display does not go black (waiting for video signal from the camera) when you put the transmission on the rear gear- it means that your commander needs additional programming - to have camera option. I personally had Mercedes tech to do such thing in my van. Simply connecting the wires to the dash unit didn't work without reprogramming. You can get the same camera with its own monitor, but I didnt want to add more wires and clutter in the van. Best regards.

Installation Steps: 

 1. Install the backup camera by connecting the camera red wire with reversing light and black wire with ground (metal part on the car).  

2. Route the video cable from back to front.  

3. Find a suitable place and fix the Monitor on windshield or dashboard as you like

Answer:	The image resolation is 720P, which ensures you can see the things in detail.
Question:	What is the resolution of image?Does it have night vision
Answer:	The grid lines are fixed and there is a blinking word STOP in the middle of the red line, obviously telling you to stop when an object gets to the red line. You can turn all of this off by snipping the white loop coming out of the control box. To turn, the camera would have to know the position of your steering wheel, which would be quite a complicated installation on the car, not too mention an expensive one.
