Answer:	I installed on a pickup truck. Attached the camera to the license plate and got power from the tail lights. Ran the video wire under the bed protection to the cab; followed the truck's diver to the door, and into the overlap of the interior door frame panel. Followed the path inside the panels to the dash, and mounted the monitor on the dash. Got power to monitor by wiring from switch under the dash and into the interior panels. The interior panels are just screw on, so loosen those and tuck the wires in.

Answer:	I mounted my camera just a bit above the level of the ball and it works and displays everything really well when not hitched up. But when I go to hitch the trailer, it is better than having someone guide you. You can just back up and center as you go because you see everything clearly and the ball is in the center of the picture. Then when you see the shadow come over the ball, you are there! Just be careful to go slowly at that point because you the distances can be a bit deceptive.

Answer:	The night visibility is pretty good. You can turn up the image brightness, and does the job in urban environments. The backup lights should do the trick. I don’t know if you’ll have any issues with the distance between the display (in cab) and the rear of the trailer, given that it connects via Bluetooth. The height of the license plate must be less than 6.97", or Solar 1 can't be installed.

The length of the licence plate doesn't matter , but you need to make sure that the distance between the upper screw is 6.57" to 7.36".
