Answer:	From my experience, the detector has different range when on highway and in city mode. On highway, the estimated range is between 1/2 mile to 1.5 miles giving you sufficient time to react when the alert comes on. When on city mode, the range is approximately 4 to 5 blocks. Do take note that if you are approaching hills or curves, the range will be cut down significantly as the signal is being blocked and hence you may have less time to react.

I am thinking about notching tyne license plate frame under the camera to see if that would let it pivot down a little more. There is no horizontal pivot not a way to adjust the field of view angle.

Question:	On a dodge caravan, how did you run the wire the length of the van without it showing
Answer:	I installed on a pickup truck. Attached the camera to the license plate and got power from the tail lights. Ran the video wire under the bed protection to the cab; followed the truck's diver to the door, and into the overlap of the interior door frame panel. Followed the path inside the panels to the dash, and mounted the monitor on the dash. Got power to monitor by wiring from switch under the dash and into the interior panels. The interior panels are just screw on, so loosen those and tuck the wires in.
Question:	The screen is not working, can I send it back and get a new one? I do not want to send the enitre thing back because it has already been wired in
