Answer:	The cameras work with power to the port, no power they turn off. Not every vehicle has a power port that turns off when you turn off the vehicle. Some have one port that is always powered and one that switches off/on with the vehicle. Point here is that it's your vehicle, you need to look at your owners manual or just test the port(s) with the vehicle on and off.

Answer:	Bought it 4 days ago. Installed the dash cam myself. Very simple and took like 3 minutes. Great picture. I bought the 10” and it barely covered my stick mirror. 2013 Jeep Wrangler. So I had to move the dash cam mirror as far to the left as possible which barely covers my stock mirror. And barely allows the front camera to clear the stick mirror. But just works. Great picture. Have to remember to unplug from your car charger or you could drain the battery if your charger stays in when the engine is off. Don’t forget to peel the clear plastic cover off the mirror AND the camera lens. I had the rear camera installed at the dealership and have issues with the installment but that’s on the inexperience if the service tech. The 18’ cable for the rear camera was just short and the tech spliced it even though the directions said not to do that. So now I’m asking about how to get the 23’ cable. I also had the dealership hard wire the camera to my fuse box using the recommended wiring kit here. So I don’t have to worry about plugging and unplugging the car adaptor. Only issue so far is the rear view camera only stays in for about 30 seconds and I have to tap the screen to get it to come back on. But this may be me not understanding the set up directions yet. Im going to go okay with it again now. But overall, the front and rear video is fantastic. It’s like watching actual tv. Picks up really well in little or no light. And I shows full lanes on either side of me front and back. My plan is to use the rear view camera as my actual rear view mirror since my spare tire blocks almost the entire rear window. So far I’d give it a bit 4.5 stars. If the Chinese would only hire a true English speaker to do their translations and writings then I’d give it a 5.
