Question:	On a dodge caravan, how did you run the wire the length of the van without it showing
Answer:	I installed on a pickup truck. Attached the camera to the license plate and got power from the tail lights. Ran the video wire under the bed protection to the cab; followed the truck's diver to the door, and into the overlap of the interior door frame panel. Followed the path inside the panels to the dash, and mounted the monitor on the dash. Got power to monitor by wiring from switch under the dash and into the interior panels. The interior panels are just screw on, so loosen those and tuck the wires in.

Question:	Led lights come no but no picture
Answer:	Confirm you are getting power to the lcd screen ....check the input options on the lcd screen there should be av1 and av2 in my experience av2 is the default when the monitor is on/reverse is selected. Also check for a pinched video signal wire...the yellow one sometimes depending on how a person installs them can accidentally get pinched in the dash causing it not to display so check for that too.

Rear camera installation

If your car do not have built in reversing system, you will need connect the rear cam cable RED wire into positive lead (12V) of your reversing lamp.

Answer:	It would depend on the vehicle. Mine is a pick up truck and I mounted it on the top and tilted it down so I can see the top of the trailer hitch ball to back up to a trailer. Still can see behind for parking.

Answer:	I didn't use a fuse. I didn't tap into my backup light wire. I just push the button on the cigarette lighter socket and the camera is on. I did this so I could look at my trailer while driving.

Answer:	If it has camera capabilities yes I have it on my pioneer hooked to a swatch so I can turn it on and off when I want to so I can see my trailer while towing not just backing up
Question:	When this is connected to camera ready Sony Radio with display, will it turn on automatically when vehicle is put in reverse or do you do it manually
Answer:	No, it does it automatically if connected correctly, the video is outstanding. Keep the lens wipe off and you will love the resolution. I do recommend putting something in the two holes on the back to seal out water and also the wires maybe small. I had to buy a spool of Red and Black Auto power wire to make the connection, but over all this camera is very good I have no issues at all.

Answer:	Yes it does. I have my travel trailer hooked up to input 1 and the license plate camera on my truck hooked up to input 2 (provides lane indications on #2)

Answer:	You can buy a cable,to add. Not sure how much but if you look towards the bottom of the back up camera page you should see some.
Question:	Will this work on a travel trailer
Answer:	Depends on the size of you travel trailer. This only comes with a 23.5’ wire. Measure from the dash in the truck/suv (monitor) to the license plate on the travel trailer (camera). Then add an extra 3 - 4’ for hiding the wires. Had to return due to not having enough wire length for my 29’ travel trailer. No wire extension or adaptors found for this model to fit longer trailers.
Question:	Does this camera work while driving forward, to monitor a trailer connection
Answer:	It depends. If you wire it to the reverse lights the camera will receive power only while in reverse but if you wire it to the taillights it will run as long as you have the vehicle lights on.
