Answer:	Hi, It supposedly can change from Centigrade to Farenheit, and from Meters to Feet, when you are setting the Altimeter. It comes with instructons to change it. When you are pressing the SET button and altitude unit M flash, press ALTITUDE or COMPASS button to select M or FEET. You have to follow a sequence to set your Altimeter. I have not done it yet, but I will try it soon. You have to read the instructions very carefully. My came in Chinese and english, and I speak and read spanish as my primary language, so go figure. Some people have commented that they couldn't figure it, but I believe it takes patience and practice to set your Altimeter right. Good luck!

Answer:	I use my altimeter for competitive shooting. I wanted an analog device in the event my digital equipment failed. So far it has been as accurate as my digital device and is easy to read. I would recommend this device.

Answer:	Yes, that's what it's for. It comes with a case and strong small rope like thing to wear around your neck or tie to your pack. It won't do the math for you but it will tell you your present elevation. It won't be 100% accurate at all times due to fluxation of atmospheric pressure, but we are talking a few feet off not hundreds. I took mine on a day hike up Mt Sneffels and it was exactly accurate on the top.

Answer:	Great simple product, no batteries needed. Does what it is supposed to. We take it hiking, driving the mountains, even skiing.

Answer:	Probably because most people are idoits and don't understand this thing is a classic altimeter that measures barometric pressure and should be adjusted hourly for a flawless reading. I took mine to Mt Sneffels and adjusted it for pressure and had a perfect reading all through out Colorado. You just have to understand that the weight of the atmosphere changes a little constantly. When I put it on my desk at home and don't mess with it it will sometimes say it's 100 feet higher than yesterday because the pressure changed. I find it works great being adjusted daily for mountain hiking. It will get you easily within 100 feet of actual altitude if you never touch it at all.

Answer:	Yes, BH. It is made of wood. And you will need a sharpener, if you don't already own one. My favorite, which I didn't get from Amazon, is made by Maybelline; it comes with one standard opening as well as an enlarged opening that has a surprise extra part that may be removed, creating a third option. Creating an opening with an even larger diameter. Best ever sharpener, and best ever lip liner pencil. Just don't expect it to go on forever, particularly if you are a frequent lipstick user. Sephora's pencil "leads" are much softer than most others I've used, making them very desirable. Translation; you can apply your liner without hurting your lips. As far as the colors go, I bought between 5 and 7 of them at one time, and can't recall the color names. Sorry. Best bet there? If you can see colors on the Amazon page, copy them, even enlarge them, and toss them into a wordpad document. It's not a perfect solution, but is better than nothing. Have a good one. H

Question:	is it adjustable for present sea level pressure so altitude readout is accurate
Answer:	Yes! It is easy. You need to get the actual altitude from the closest airport or other location. Then, following the instructions that come with the unit, adjust the units altitude reading to that. The unit is very sensitive so the altitude reading will fluctuate some, but the reading is close enough.
Question:	Tried following the instructions on setting the altitude even though they're not clear. Either I'm doing it wrong or the unit isn't working properly
Answer:	Hi Susan. According to the instructions you need to pre-set your altitude based on the information that can be obtained at the local airport or on various weather sites. That being said, I followed all of the instructions to set my current altitude and it has never worked correctly.
Question:	Will this work inside of a vehicle? Or must you be be outside
Answer:	Yes, it will work within a vehicle, but as with any magnetic compass its accuracy may be influenced by nearby metal.

ATTENTION:

1. Speed data display error: Because the system is designed to warn drivers not to overspeed. Therefore, the HUD's default display speed is 5-10 km/h higher than the actual driving speed of the car. You can adjust the data to be synchronized when using. There is no need to adjust again in the future.

2.Sleep Voltage: Default is off ,if the device can’t auto off,please adjust the voltage at 13.2V or higher



What's the Difference Between GPS and OBDII?



1. GPS works for all vehicles, but it doesn't show as much data as OBDII.

2. OBDII has more powerful features and data, but is only suitable for vehicles produced after 2008.
