Question:	Can you mount camera on a wall and aim camera at a 45 degree angle? Basically i want to get it to focus down the side if my house ans not directly
Answer:	You have to highlight the areas that you want to set. However, when I did that, and after hitting Apply the 24/7 "time" record was still set. To set the cameras to motion record what I worked out was that you need to actually hit the "Reset" button on that screen to clear the schedule first. It then shows the schedule with all white boxes. After that you can set the daily and weekly schedule to what you want to have as the setting.
Question:	Do you need to subscribe to these features on a monthly basis like some other cameras
Answer:	As of now, I only have 2 up. Both are about 100 feet away (going through several walls, too) from the base and the picture is amazing. They both show 4 bars of signal strength.

Answer:	I thought it is one year, but when I clean the box come with this system, I found a card to get 1 year longer warranty, so I have 2 years warranty for my system now.

Question:	So I have been reading the reviews for this system and it looks like there are a lot of problems with the dvr connecting to the router
Answer:	Just installed this system (4 channel, hard drive included) and it's connected by wire to my router. No problems at all. All of our cameras are within 50 feet of the DVR and they all have at least 3 wifi signal bars. That's also though walls and floors. We've had no problems with signal or playback. The video quality is also pretty decent for a $200 inclusive system!

Answer:	You can store them to NAS not directly though. You need to purchase their plan either $3/month per camera or $10/month for unlimited cameras. If you have either plan you can download them from the cloud and store them on your NAS. I don’t know what Amazon Stockholder was talking about as it was stated that you can access, DOWNLOAD, and share past Ring videos. Also Amazon Stockholder would be completely incorrect with his reply.

Answer:	Same discovery as Howard stated above. The current software in these cams, it doesn't not appear on my Windows 10 Ring app on my computer. It appears fine on my Android phone, but I pretty much do everything on my computer. I'm at work at home Cybersecurity engineer, so I like to see everything on my computer. I have 2 spotlight cams (over garage and one over the backyard) 2 of these indoor cams in my house (1st floor) and the Ring doorbell. I can see everything but the indoor cams that cover my 1st floor of the house. I have read via threads and forums though that the software is going to update this year sometime and they will eventually appear in the Windows 10 app on your computer systems, so that is a plus. The Ring devices check for updates themselves over your wifi network, so I'm assuming they will update themselves at one point and they will appear on my Windows 10 app one day soon. I'm hoping...it's one of the main reasons I got these. I want to be able to monitor and check on my three dogs on the first floor of the house, while I'm working in my office on the second floor.

How to switch s mode to windows 10



1. On your PC running Windows 10 in S mode, open Settings > Update & Security > Activation.



2. In the Switch to Windows 10 Home or Switch to Windows 10 Pro section, select Go to the Store. (If you also see an "Upgrade your edition of Windows" section, be careful not to click the "Go to the Store" link that appears there.)
