Answer:	I think it depends on which symbol you want to use as a check mark. In the third picture for this product listing, the left one with X is a left angled mini USB which is not included in this hardwire kit. The right one is the correct one which is a right angled one included in this product. I know in the US sometimes people use X as a check mark. But when we have V coming out, X just means the wrong one, or not available. Maybe we should use a circle with slash instead a X as not available?

Answer:	I tried to use these in a GM G-Body '84 Regal for the front dash speakers however they are not good. The frame is too thick. There is a rim on the top that is too thick for proper seating of the dash panel. Did not work for me until I cut the damn rim down with a razor blade. Then I almost cut my damn thumb off on my left hand when the blade slipped off the speaker rim. It cut deep to the bone. It was a single edge razor. Went through my thumb like butter. Happened so fast and I knew it was bad. So after holding pressure on my thumb for an hour while laying on the floor, I had to act. It definitely needed a few stitches, but I don't trust hospitals so I dressed it myself. I poured some peroxide on the fookin thing and then wrapped it tight with sterile gauze while keeping the cut closed. Took a few weeks to heal because the wound closed up on the gauze and it would not come off. So I had to keep trimming down the gauze smaller and smaller until there was no scab left. Still have the inch long scar to this day. Fooking Kenwood SUCKS ! I should have bought Prestige speakers made by VOXX. They had the proper fit. Never buy Kenwood !!! Nearly lost a thumb !

Answer:	I had no issues hooking up the kit so that it turns off when i turn my car off. there are 3 wires, 1) ACC 2) 12v 3) Ground. the way it works is that the 12v(red wire) provides constant power, kind of directly plugging into the battery. the ACC (accessory / yellow wire) goes to any fuse that has no power when the car is off and has power when the car turns on. and ground is ground. the easiest way for me was to wire it into the wiring harness of my aftermarket radio since it has the same 3 wires.

Answer:	This kit connects to the fuse block obviously while the other connects to the obd port. You have more choice over which fuse to use (function and rating) for full protection from failure and battery drain. I had OBD-II connection on a different dashcam running for approximately 18 months when it failed. The OBD-II dongle failure drained my battery down to 8 volts within 36 hours.

Answer:	No Crimping is needed. You simply figure out which fuse adapter you need for your vehicle type and connect it up. The adapter will replace a switched fuse in your fuse box (you need to figure out which one is best.) you pull the fuse, install it in the adapter, and then plug the adapter into the former location of that fuse. If the fuse you replaced is switched, then the device will only get power when the key is on, which I would assume is what you want.

Answer:	I had to do the same thing. I had a friend cut through the frame and swap lenses to fit my eyes. I used clear packaging tape to keep one of the lenses from falling out. Or, use strong glue. My friend said it took him less than 15 minutes to make me 3 pairs. It can be done.

Answer:	Yes, it does. However, even though the wiring harness and such fit, you may need to file the dashboard plastic radio slot to allow the mounting clips to fit. This is a minor modification easily done with a heavy utility knife and flat file. I used a Dremel moto-tool which worked great. The wiring harness should work just fine.

Low Voltage Protection

Find the Correct Fuse Slot

Open the fuse box, find the correct fuse slot for your hardwire kit. If you need to find an ignition switched fuse, put the key in the vehicle, find the fuse which is not lit up while the car is off, and test it by turning the car on to see if it lights up. If your kit requires constant power, turn off the car and remove the key to see which fuse slots stays lit on.

Connect the Red Wire

Once you've determined which fuse slots you need to use for your hardwiring kit you can crimp the red wire of your hardwire kit onto the Add-A-Fuse. Gently remove the fuse you identified. Install the fuse you just removed into the installation kit add-a-fuse circuit. Plug the add-a-circuit into the fuse box in the correct orientation.

Ground the Hardwiring Kit

Slip the black wire (which is in the shape of a C) under a metal bolt or screw in your vehicle (this is the ground wire). Check that it is not attached onto plastic parts. You will typically need a socket wrench to loosen the nut or bolt that you choose to ground with. To attach the grounding terminal, loosen the nut or bolt enough to slip it in and tighten it back up afterwards.
