With a sturdy, lightweight zig-zag sole, the new Dr. Martens myles sandal is an easy slip-on style built for all-day comfort — plus an extra-chunky platform height.

Dr. Martens is the stuff of legends. It all began near Munich, Germany in 1945 when Dr. Klaus Maertens injured his foot in a skiing accident in the Bavarian Alps. To make walking easier during the healing process, he designed a shoe with an air-cushioned sole. Using old rubber tires, he constructed soles that had air trapped within closed compartments. He showed his prototype to his engineer/inventor friend, Dr. Herbert Funck, and together they decided to develop and produce the shoes. Not only did the shoe solve the doctor's immediate problem, but it also started to sell well in Germany. By 1959 the two decided that they needed a company to produce and distribute the shoes, then called Dr. Maertens, in other parts of the world. At first, many manufacturers rejected the concept of an air cushioned sole as a short-lived gimmick. However, the R. Griggs Group, located in the village of Wollaston in England, decided to go along with the idea by creating the first work boot with the revolutionary sole. On the first of April 1960, the first cherry red eight-eyelet work boot was produced and named 1460. To sell the brand name better in England, the name was anglicized to Dr. Martens. The range was branded AirWair and the rest is history.

Answer:	8 Guage can only handle a few hundred watts or so RMS. You might be able to get a 5-channel system that uses 700W RMS to be properly powered BUT that's probably right around the peak for this gauge of wire. That being said, BOSS WILL NOT WORK FOR THAT. Boss uses garbage materials and typically only deliver 1/3 of what they say they are delivering. I've seen the tests with my own eyes with wiring and amps and they fall apart. Don't wire anything more than 100W RMS or so total with this kit or you might melt it.

Answer:	Yes, emblem separate from the base,and have 3M in the back of emblem.

Answer:	It does work with a mirror display in my 2010 King Ranch. No dealer programming was required. But one does have to figure out the wiring. Your Ford will have a 6 pin (or more) connection while the replacement camera has 4. Camera power feed positive and negative. Video positive and negative that goes to your mirror. Can't help on which wires to use as my mechanic figured it out then shrink wrapped his connections. Wiring change done behind the bumper. Wiring provided is for those installing an aftermarket radio with video display in the cab. Instructions for existing Ford displays aren't included in the instructions. The resolution of the replacement camera is better than the factory, but the range is shorter probably due to a slightly different angle of the camera. Also note the new Ford Emblem and new base glue together while the old ones use clips that break.

Answer:	No it's not wireless, I chose this one because sometimes you get interference with the wireless ones. I had the smaller 4" wireless one first from another manufacture and it was hard to see and did cycle on and off every once and awhile. If your young with good eye sight you might like a smaller unit, this one is big but I like it better than the small one. Hope this helps

Answer:	The screen comes on when the red wire is connected to 12v and the black wire is connected to ground. In this scenario, with the screen powered on and nothing connected all you will get is a blue screen but connect the included camera to the video input on the screen and supply 12v to the camera and the blue screen will disappear and be replaced with the video from the camera. Power both camera and screen from the same source and they will turn on and off together (this way you will never get a blue screen). Connect them to the vehicle's backup lights and they both will turn on when the vehicle is in reverse. I drive a cargo van and have mine connected so that it is on as long as my engine is running, that way I can see behind me while I am driving.

Answer:	I've never tried that feature, but it would depend on if your Car power socket still works after the engine has been turned off, My car does not keep power in the power socket with the engine off, I think that's to prevent the battery from being run down.

Answer:	I can give you a brief one as I've been using this for a little over a month and don't have the backup camera installed yet (too hot to work on it). For my purposes, it's reasonably good for a sub-$150 camera. The front camera is able to pickup license plates of cars in front (and they are clear) and has a good angle of view. The interior camera enables almost the entire cabin of my Chevy Cobalt to be seen, getting driver, passenger, and rear seats in frame. Note that I rarely drive at night and it's usually under a lot of streetlights so I haven't really tested its night vision capabilities so I can't speak to that. I'm happy with it for what it is as this was my first dashcam and didn't want to spend a lot on it - the cabin and backup cameras are a bonus. I did buy a 2nd dashcam and put it in my rear mirror as I didn't want to use the backup camera all of the time.
