Answer:	Yes both the watch and band need to be used together.
Question:	Which is the calorie count? The larger number in the middle of the screen or the number under the Kcal? I am so confused
Answer:	To see calorie count, go to the stop watch mode. Hit start, this will also start the cal counting. To see how many you've burned hit the right bottom button twice which will pause and then switch you to the calorie screen and show the number. To resume your workout/the stop watch hit the top right start button again. The little number under the time is your heart rate

Answer:	I have an iPhone and it worked with that. However, I would caution you - I took it to my doctor to see if the readings were consistent with theirs and it was way off. Unfortunately, I waited to long to return it because I wanted to make sure on the readings. I can't recommend this.
Question:	How to shut off my Pyle Health Monitor after use
Answer:	It is really simple. Please refer to page 7 in the manual that explains turning off the clock display. If the clock is turned off it will automatically power off. If it is turned on it will remain displayed.

Answer:	It fit my 9 year old but the unit didn't work so I returned it.

Monitor Your Heart Rate

The PHRM24 allows you to monitor your heart rate while performing any cardiovascular activity. Wrap the included heart rate monitor belt around your chest before exercising. Then, enter the heart rate monitor mode on the watch. During your exercise session, you can keep track of your current and average heart rates — all at the touch of a button.

Included Software Package

At the end of the day, use the included software to track your long term performance. The PHRM24 base unit snaps off from the watch band, exposing a convenient USB port. The USB Link software downloads data from your watch and presents it conveniently on your PC. Get charts, stats, and keep a journal of your workouts. And if multiple people are sharing the same watch for their workouts, or if you use two or more watches, it's no problem — you can even keep track of multiple users. Note: included software works on Windows PCs only.

Built-in Functions To Help You Train

You can use knowledge of your heart rate to determine what kind of exercise you're doing. First, you need to know your maximum heart rate, which is calculated based on your age. At 60-70% of this maximum, you are training for endurance and aerobic capacity. Your cardiovascular system develops at 70-80%.

The PHRM24 is conveniently equipped with multiple training modes to help you reach these levels and notify with an alarm you when you have. You can also view your calories and fat burned.

This watch is also equipped with an intelligent step counter function. Traditional pedometers can suffer from inaccuracy, as they use all movement to determine the number of steps you've taken. But that means simply moving your arms around can register as steps, ruining your workout data. The PHRM24's intelligent step counter ignores unwanted input and only counts your true steps.

Of course, the PHRM24 is equipped with all the features you've come to expect from great sports watches, including time & date functions, a daily alarm, and an LED backlight, so you can use the watch in low light or at night with no problem. There's also a chronograph with 30 lap memory.
