| Answer: | Yes they can be put on mono block, that's what I have set up. Just don't bridge it, it's only 2ohm stable not 1. |
| Question: | Does anyone have the BOSS 1100 watt riot amp with these? If so how do you like? Does it hit hard |
| Answer: | I've used it temporarily on the sealed enclosure version of these. BOSS amps are cheap for a reason though. Poor sound quality and it doesn't push anywhere near the 1000 watts these can handle. If you want a cheap amp that actually sounds good I'd recommend the Power Acoustik rzr1-2500d it's not 1000 watts RMS but it'll do 700+ on good electrical & sounds Way better than the boss amp |

| Answer: | I have had these subs in the box 4 going on 6 years with a 3000 watt competition massive amp pushing 800 watts RMS bridged making it 200% overpowered I paid $122 for them six years ago and they are still thumping to this day |

| Answer: | Yes it will fit but not enough air space according to the Rockford Fosgate's website recommended enclosure specs. Looks like they recommend approx 1.40 cu ft. and this box is right around .82 net volume. It'll work but if you really want to get the most out of that P3 I'd go with Crutchfield's Bass Bunker Model BB10-1V (1.20 cu ft) or maybe even the BB10-125V. (1.47 cu ft)- this will help that awesome p3 breathe. I own this E10SV and the BB10-1V and after switching to the Bass Bunker it's made a world of difference for me. I'm running a Sundown SA-10 in that Bass Bunker BB10-1V because Sundown calls for 1.0 to 1.25 cu ft in a ported box. Best decision I've made when it comes to a box. Crutchfield is of course known for their quality. This E10SV is not bad at all and is well built. Especially for the price. I just can't stress enough the importance and the difference it'll make by matching box specs to manufacturer's specs. Hope this helps. |
| Question: | How big is the binding post mounting circle on the 10" sealed box? 3" or 4"? I would be replacing it with a better one |
| Answer: | No but I have two of these boxes. One with a type r 10 and the other with an RE 10. For both of these setups they are wired down to 1ohm and I highly recommend adding polyfil to the box. I just added to the sides of the box. Gives it a more deeper bass than boomy. The box is tuned to 37 so it makes it sound a bit boomy on certain notes. Adding polyfil sorted that problem out for both boxes. So if you get it, polyfil is a must unless you like the boomy bass |
