Answer:	I would give these more than 250 rms a piece. If ur looking to connect 2 of them at 2ohm u should be good. If your connecting 2,500 ms should be good. And try to avoid wiring these at 1ohm. They will sound really good for about 1 hour or 2 then they will blow. I went thru 2 pairs before finding a good amount of wattage. If ur budget is 50 dollars per speaker. Try the skarix or the jbl gt series.

Answer:	short answer yes, long answer no. first, they are not marine subs, so there will be corrosion. second, they are not as stiff suspension as free-air/ ib subs, so for mechanical reasons, power handling is greatly reduced, especially in the lower frequencies, and should include the use of a ssf and eq slope. and last, any noise in the engine bay will be transferred through the cone. better off building a wakeboard rack style encolsure and a smaller sub, for more output.

My only thought as to why it would say Double Din in the description, assuming that it's not just wrong, is that because the faceplate is so large and hangs down below the rest of the deck, it would take up as much space as a Double DIN player would.

Answer:	I never measured it but the system is designed to maintain nominal load under all conditions. Mine works fine on a whole house system with all outputs wired. Keep the same speakers per load connected, i.e. use only 8 ohms speakers.
Question:	Why are they making a popping rattling noise
Answer:	A "passive' subwoofer (no internal amplifier) is just a speaker with a low pass crossover, which would be fine. If you have a "powered" subwoofer, you would use a line level audio signal from the amplifier line out, not a speaker output [even though that is also possible with some powered subs with input attenuation].

Answer:	I think Mr. P means to ask if it uses autotransformers, which can be used in audio applications to adapt speakers to constant-voltage audio distribution systems, and for impedance matching such as between a low-impedance microphone and a high-impedance amplifier input.

Answer:	I have mine each in their own sealed box one behind each seat in my standard cab tacoma and they sound really good actually I was impressed because everyone talks down on Skar audio. They are pretty loud but since there shallow mount they don't shake the truck too much. They're definitely good subs though 👍

Answer:	Play 12 hrs of music with the speakers at half power. Also play some bass test frequency sweeps aswell, that should loosen them up.

Answer:	How deep of a lip does the desk need? I'm using an Arozzi gaming desk, which is just shy of 1". The clamp is U shaped and the tightening bolt is about 3" in length. It will tighten down on a desk as thin as 1/4".

Answer:	Every one of these answers are total garbage and lack of impedance knowledge. Depending on whether you're running them in a series or parallel, or a series parallel, this changes the ohm load to the amp. 4 ohm dvc subwoofers can be wired in a 4 ohm load down to a 1 ohm load, depending on wiring and number of subs. A dvc 2 ohm speaker can be wired down to as low as a .5 ohm load or a 2 ohm load. You better quality sound the lower the ohm load, make sure both speakers and amp are capable of carrying the same load.

Answer:	120 RMS 200 MAX. Good to add some bottom. Not going to shake windows. Pretty clean. Works if space is a issue. Had to put in hatch on my GTI. Wouldn't fit under the seat. I have the older version in my Mazda, it doesn't have as many watts but sounds good. I've had the old one in for five years, no problems. Not a boomer just a low end filler.

Answer:	No, it is an 8". The literature was misleading. They also make an older 8" that puts out less power. 100rms ? I have it in another vehicle. It sounds good. It won't shake the mirror. The older one has been in the other car for over 9 years, no problems. Adds bottom not a shaker. I like music tight not muddy. They both have done the job. Sorry about any confusion. I was going by the description.
