Poor sound quality and it doesn't push anywhere near the 1000 watts these can handle. If you want a cheap amp that actually sounds good I'd recommend the Power Acoustik rzr1-2500d it's not 1000 watts RMS but it'll do 700+ on good electrical & sounds Way better than the boss amp |

Mounting depth and air space required for your optimum response range, if those match you can simply cut the mounting hole bigger and run the 12's that fit properly. Note" If a bit on the lower side of space required that will cut off the lower response a bit but increase power handling so may get a bit louder, if a bit big for the air space required then the opposites are true, lowers the response frequency and the power handling. |

I can only assume they are talking about the speaker mounting depth.My speakers had a mounting depth of 5". Just FYI, a friend of mine had some speakers with the plastic cover over the magnet. He had to take the plastic cover off to make them fit in the box he had. I've read where people have built spacer rings that go between the speaker and the outside of the box to make them work. |

To you saying 1.8: first you can’t include any port volume , secondly, ITS INTERNAL AIR VOLUME. NOT THR DISPLACEMENT OF THE EXTERNAL DIMENSIONS. You can’t multiply the exterior dimensions like of you have. 14x14x1/2 of 32 then divide by 1728. Idiots. Measure the interior dimensions, not the port. These prefabs are tuned ridiculously too high. When you play anything slowed or bassed, your cone will be uncontrollable flop city. Enjoy that. When you blow the sub in less than a month DO watch a YouTube video and build a sun either sealed or tuned to 25Hz. |

| Answer: | Zach, When I had these installed in my son's car for Christmas, I started with an "800 peak watt 300 rms" amp and it was under powered. At the time I did not know the difference between "peak" and "rms" watts and we had to switch to a "1600 watt 800 rms" amp. I installed the same speakers in my other son's car for Christmas and we swapped that amp out for a 1200 watt 600 rms amp and it also worked fine. I learned that you need to look at the "rms" watts on the amp, most publish the higher "peak watts" number which is a little misleading because you need high continuous watts to drive these speakers. "RMS Watts is the continuous power output of an amplifier or power handling of a speaker." They are good speakers but you need to the right amp to really get the sound out of them. Hope this helps. | Answer: | How deep of a lip does the desk need? I'm using an Arozzi gaming desk, which is just shy of 1". The clamp is U shaped and the tightening bolt is about 3" in length. It will tighten down on a desk as thin as 1/4". |

| Answer: | Both subwoofers are wired to a single terminal on the enclosure, giving you a single 2 ohm load. I would assume from this that the subs inside must therefore be 4ohm SVC, although that information is not relevant as the subs are wired together. |
