Answer:	I know this is an old question, but just in case someone else has this same question, it comes with a wiring harness for the RADIO, not for your vehicle. You need two harnesses, one that connects to the radio, one that connects to your vehicle, and the vehicle harness is always vehicle specific; they're super cheap, just search amazon for one that fits your vehicle. They aren't "technically" required, but with a vehicle harness you don't have to cut up your factory wires and look up wiring colors, with after-market harnesses you should (in all cases I've tested) just match up same wire colors and twist-tie (or solder) them together, easy-peesy, the hardest part is usually getting the radio out.

Answer:	A 6 channel unit will have 6 different inputs and 6 different outputs Lets say you wanted to use this with a Dolby Surround Sound system. Then you could take advantage all those channels. Obviously most audio sources are only 2 channels. You could bridge 3 channels to the left channel and 3 channels to the right channel. Amplifiers are rated at total output power and output power per channel. So a amplifier rated at 100 watts per channel will equal 600 watts total power output. The question you'll have to ask yourself is can I take advantage of all those channels.
