Answer:	I doubt it. I tried using it on an iPad with a few different apps. They all expected the internal GPS to be the source of GPS data. It did work on Google Maps, though. My iPad didn't have an internal GPS, because that's what I wanted at the time. Now-a-days, most devices have internal GPS by default. I don't know if that's true for the iPad Pro. I imagine you wouldn't be asking this question if it did though. :D

Answer:	NO. It is merely a GPS antenna that connects to a device such as an iPad that allows third party software to GEO-synch device position with/in a database. In other words you can look at a map in Google earth and see California, or you can use this antenna to allow Google Maps to pinpoint the device location, say Golden Gate Park at the entrance to the Japanese Tea Gardens. If you have software such as Foreflight, used by pilots for navigation, it will literally put a small airplane icon on one of their maps and show you not only where you are, but calculate your airspeed, altitude, course, heading, position relative to a pre-planned course, etc. I purchased the DualXGPS-150 for about a $100, and purchased the Foreflight software license for a monthly fee of $25 or annual fee of $75, and for an additional $25 monthly /$75 annually purchased the GEO-synch services. I downloaded the software to my iPad, and my son and I flew a Cessna 172 from Orlando to Anchorage round trip using this system as back-up navigation (see my blog at floridaaviators.blogspot.com--scroll to the bottom and read bottom to top to review the trip in chronological order). I also had a very expensive Garmin 696 for primary navigation. This system performed as well as the Garmin, although the Garmin also had Sirius/XM Satellite capability (for an additional fee), as well as other capabilities such as Terrain Clearance and Along-Track Weather, notam and weather forecast and observation all integral to the unit. Bottom line, this is a piece of hardware that allows other software to function on a portable device for navigational purposes. You CAN use it to enable something like Google Maps on an iPad to provide turn-by-turn navigation.

Answer:	I don't think so. I have found that all Bluetooth devices in the vicinity must have the Bluetooth feature turned off except the device you want the Dual gps to communicate with. Otherwise it gets confused and continually tries to communicate with the other devices.

Question:	Does it works with ipad air navigaition app
Answer:	I intended to use the XGPS190 with my iPad using the Foreflight platform. I only realized after I purchased the XGPS190 that is is only fleetingly compatible with Foreflight. It does connect reliably through Bluetooth and provides the flight plan and data in Foreflight but the tracking utility is, at best, intermittent. It does draw the magenta flight plan line and the flight plan data using the XGPS190 and the ADS-B light does illuminate. Unfortunately the little tracking airplane appears only randomly on the iPAD and rarely the tracking data disappears also making it difficult to know precise location quickly and visually on the iPad. I generally work around it triangulating with the airplane's Garmin GPS and sometimes a VOR bearing. Sounds like the VOR resource will be severely reduced in the near future by the FAA!! I remain hopeful that Foreflight comes up with (or conversely Dual Electronics) a fix for this in the near future. The lack of seamless compatibility was not very clear when I bought the unit and I would have likely gone with an alternative had it been more clear. Once again my comments are specific to using Foreflight on the iPad with the XGPS190.

Answer:	I like it. It is a bit sluggish. The only browser that's any good is the one that comes with it. There are some apps in the store but not much. Some games but it's mostly for browsing. Word, and Excel are built in and don't require subscription or update. No browser extensions or adblock. BUT Mine has been stable as a rock for several years. It is virtually immune to viruses because no one will bother making a virus that is compatible with this machine which didn't have many sales and MicroSoft apparently has no intent to manufacture any more with the ARM processor. It has an antivirus utility built in but most forums believe it is unnessary and merely harmless. I watch movies and youtube. I connect from the micro HDMI output to a desk top monitor. Use a USB hub to break out the USB to support an external mouse/trackball and full size keyboard. And since the apps are limited, children can't load it up with stuff that pollutes the machine into inoperability. I haven't tried it yet but I think it would be perfect for the non-computer-savy elderly. They could check email, browse, write in Word. And their grandkids are unlikely to mess it up. It's an early version of Windows 8 so it takes a little getting used to. And so far the incessant Windows updates that are always messing with Win 10 do little to nothing to this machine. Like I said MS essentially no longer supports this processor. And I consider that a good thing.

I made a mistake and got this one vs. the pro 3 which is the one i really wanted... the differences can be spotted visually (now that I know, im sharing the info)... the Pro 1 has a real physical button on the center of the tablet when it is in horizontal position... the Pro 2 has a touch sensative windows button in the same position and has a built in "kick stand" for it to stand on a table... and the Pro 3 is bigger and has the touch-sensative-windows button on the vertical side of the tablet (more like an iPad button but touch sensative not a physical one)....hope this helps.

Answer:	I just got this item, yes it works with Optima 40 BUT THESE STAPLES ONLY HAVE 25 SHEET CAPACITY!! Which means you are not maximizing your utility and running a risk of jamming if you are going for sheets from 25-40 with Optima 40.

Answer:	I don’t know what type of wood this was, but it was very nice. Unfortunately both the original one I purchased and the replacement sent where spilt into and had pieces missing. I returned both. The seller never contacted me to address the issue. I did submit a product review that you may still be able to view on Amazon - one star.

Answer:	Pulled out the ruler again. It was hard to find a measurement of 8 inches anywhere, but I eventually found it. I measured 8 inches from the tip of the handle to the far side of the wire cutting part of the pliers. Tip to tip while closed is 8-11/16".
